Could this happen if this plague actually keeps spreading?
Apparently parts of inner Mongolia went into lockdown after plague cases were detected last night.
Rumors are also that after return of thousands of Chinese migrant workers from Russia, first plague cases were spotted in Henan province in China.
Obviously it's all rumors, but the fact that the death of the russian worker in the Plague lab has still no official statements, and hundreds of people in Sibiria are in quarantine, makes it quite interesting.
I like to read into conspiracy theories, and there have been interesting rumors since around 2022, that a bacterium pandemic will be next after the virus pandemic with covid. Bunch of conspiracy theorists were talking about a potential advanced plague outbreak, where normal antibiotics won't help as its immune from the lab, and some special antibiotics will be released.
Could this happen? Idk.
Is it interesting? Surely.
Could solana:CscZaq5twomhUkvCY8Jdd1tge32L4Yj9FbkFFEZQpump pump like solana:2tXpgu2DLTsPUf9zFmuZmA4xrYxXKBTpVq9wAM7hzs9y ? Possibly.
The argument Ethan makes here that "a strong token would survive it anyway" makes absolutely no sense to me.
He is essentially saying that he buys 30–50% of a token's supply at an extremely low market cap because he believes it can reach $1M or higher.
That's exactly where the problem starts. He does not even hold a token that long himself, or bothers giving the token attention to even go to 1M Marketcap or beyond. He instantly moves onto the next target - and that is what creates this imbalance.
Someone accumulating 30–50% of a token's supply at a sub-$10 to 20K market cap creates an enormous imbalance between the amount of money they initially risk and the amount of liquidity they can potentially extract later.
At a $100K market cap, 30% of the supply is already worth $30,000 on paper. At $1M, it's $300,000.
And it was bought for maybe $500 - $ 1,000 - close to nothing.
Now imagine that person constantly selling into thousands of $ into every bit of incoming buy pressure, while everyone else is putting in actual meaningful money, buying, and trying to push the token higher while one person is up an abnormal amount of money compared to the Liquidity provided to him in the token.
Ethans counterargument is that if the token was genuinely strong, it would survive that selling pressure anyway. That is just stupid and shows that he does not understand the point.
Through the huge imbalance of his paper-profit compared to the liquidity provided in the token and needed to be bougbt into him constantly selling, he is basically robbing every new person of their invested money, the r/r is not fair.
This guy completely misses the point, because he does not understand the or care about the actual game
Without one single person controlling such an absurd percentage of the supply, that enormous, concentrated sell pressure wouldn't even exist in the first place and a healthy community of actual members could form.
The token wouldn't need to absorb hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of potential selling from one individual who accumulated his entire position for next to nothing.
Instead, the supply would be distributed across more participants, risking a more balanced r/r, more similar expectations, and profit targets. There would still be selling, obviously, but not necessarily one massive holder constantly absorbing the buying pressure of everyone else.
A way more healthy community would form and give the token live length.
Imagine having 30% of the supply for a token that goes to 1 million marketcap.
You would walk away with $100,000 in profits if you constantly sell like Ethan does, while creating a community of 3,000 and more people that basically just fall together because they got sold on by you and then start selling onto each other due to being impatient, they invested hundreds of thousands in total while you bought it for $1,000 and sold it onto them. It doesn't give the token the strenght and length it needs and should get to actually grow.
It's not a demonstration of trading skill. It's extracting money from people who are trying to trade memes but get robbed before a community can even Prosper and grow.
Essentially providing the exit liquidity for one Ethan selling into the first hours of attention onto a token.
Our timelines used to look like this, sharing our favorite meme holdings.
Now it’s full of PNL’s that no one has ever even asked for 😭😭😭
The amount of money being systematically extracted in small increments, a few hundred or sometimes a few thousand dollars per token, across hundreds of deployments a day, is absolutely mind blowing.
I guess, as Sebastian says, game is game. After all, nobody is forcing people to buy their garbage deployments.
But when you look at the bigger picture, the whole thing starts to look like one massive extraction scheme, starting with the same thing that caught people’s attention in this tweet - yup the PNL card.
The people buying these trash deployments are often doing so because they constantly see the insane PNL screenshots posted by our favorite “trenchers” on the timeline, like the one attached here for clickbait🤣
$100k+ months, nothing but green days, seemingly endless profits.
These same people posting those PNL’s constantly promote trading fresh pairs, making newcomers believe they can achieve similar results by buying random garbage tokens with no fundamentals, no proper dev, and absolutely nothing behind them.
They aspire to become just like those cancerous CT timeline trenchers, without realizing what might actually be happening behind the scenes.
And here’s the plot twist:
Some of the very same trenchers posting those insane PNLs are also the ones deploying the tokens and extracting money from the exact people they’re teaching to buy this slop.
They’re essentially making money off the people who look up to them, while those same people believe they’re learning how to become profitable traders.
It’s actually insanely funny when you think about it.
The people selling you the dream of becoming a successful trencher might be the very same people making sure you never become one.
We need all that stupid money to flow into good token, where real team work happens and stop feeding those devs.
Touching some grass in Vietnam 🇻🇳 on-chain is a massacre at the moment and majors are bleeding too
We shall lock in again once brighter times are ahead, inshallah in November
(My coin holdings are down horrendous💀)
Caught @Themonkequant over there on the 4th picture bro was lurking trying to see if I buy some gems
So @Pumpfun and @a1lon9 have paid Jenny $11,000 yesterday in Callout Rewards. Below is a Screenshot of the top call outs. I am not hating, but this is just incredible wrong.
Roughly 13 hours after these top callouts they are:
Alon $36K to $103K - 3x
Gayle $6.1K to $5K - Negative
Dacity $194K to $138K - Negative
Intents $94K to $71K - Negative
$29.1K to $2K. - Negative
And a bunch of others that are negative.
Essentially, 13 hours later only ONE of the 20+ callouts is sitting in a positive, and the Creator got paid $11K for the call outs.
Don't get me wrong, I understand people could have made a quick buck if they would have bought the callout and sold quickly after.
I do not understand how this would justify being paid $11,000 - ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS - to call these token.
Regardless of that, all of these token have bad narratives and in another 24 hours i guarantee you that every single one of them will be at 0.
Callouts should somewhat focus on rewarding callers over-time. They should make people want to actually call good token, good narratives.
Say, coin is sitting at 5X after 24-48 hours would lead to a reward, or something like that. Definitely rewards should not be paid out based on quick X's. It's absolute non sense.
Makes no sense to pay out callout rewards the same day. Just incentivizes pump and dumps.
Got paid $11,000 for calling out coins on the pumpfun app after the new updated terms
We in the good.
So, @XScharo has now deleted every single tweet about his Souljaboy token (check my previous posts for context), and his most recent tweet is him driving a Lamborghini. How ironic. I still can not grasp how he just did all that without any shame.
@gmgnai @haze0x @CieloLiu @helen_helena95 - are you genuinely comfortable with someone like him using your platform and his "KOL" badge to promote tokens to his followers, only to delete all traces of them within hours afterwards, once he sold off all his side wallets?
He spent roughly two hours relentlessly promoting the Souljaboy token, even hyping it up in a voice chat, talking about how its a long lasting token, how he will keep working on it and how it will go up for sure, before the token rugged to 0 in one candle.
And now? All the posts are gone, he will do it again tomorrow, using his GMGN badge and @Pumpfun call outs.
At what point do platforms stop giving people like this credibility and start holding them accountable for their actions? @a1lon9 @RainsRevenge @haze0x @CieloLiu
The fact that we have KOLs who literally get paid by @pumpfun, @a1lon9, and trading terminals like @gmgnai, while openly abusing their KOL status on those platforms in broad daylight, sums up everything that is wrong with this space.
The day terminals and platforms like Pumpfun start taking action against this kind of fraudulent, scam-like behavior might finally be the day we see the trenches begin to heal.
How is it possible that Scharo can shamelessly farm a token all the way down to zero by the end of the day and simply move on like nothing ever happened? And to make matters worse, he will get paid by @pumpfun for the callout itself, while also benefiting from his partnership with @gmgnai, all while his followers are left with huge losses after he farmed them for 10's of thousands.
We need industry leaders to start taking action against people who engage in this kind of behavior. They should be excluded from callout rewards on @pumpfun, and their KOL status on platforms like @gmgnai should be revoked immediately. This is not the first time Scharo does some absolute disgraceful behavior like this.
I used to like Scharo about a year ago, back when he first started making videos teaching newcomers how to trade. However, it seems like he has changed 180 degrees since then. Perhaps he started spending his money on drugs and bitches, maybe even gambling it away, but whatever the reason, it now feels like he's more focused on shamelessly promoting garbage and taking advantage of his followers than actually teaching them anything.
This is just one of many examples of Scharo pushing absolute garbage while posting ridiculous hype like "omg omg we will run spaces run it chads" and similar phrases.
Also, many such cases, not only Scharo - it's just a perfect example I just picked up.
I'm genuinely struggling to understand how someone can fall off this hard. I cannot comprehend how he isn't ashamed of himself, openly pushing and farming tokens like this with his own face attached to everything, in broad daylight. And he even seems proud of it, posting sloppy pictures of Rolex, nice villa's etc. while making his money in an absolute not respectable way.
I'd be ashamed as hell. I wouldn't even consider doing something like this, and I probably have significantly less money than Scharo, unless he's genuinely gambling away everything he earns.
As long as people can keep doing this without consequences, nothing in the trenches is ever going to change.
One of many such cases, Alon just posted a leaderboard of top call out earners yesterday. Most of these KOL's on there are calling out pure garbage token that go to 0 within hours.
Callouts should reward people that call genuiely nice token, that survive for days and that normal trader can buy and hold to make money and join some kind of movement.
Alon and pump is literally paying KOL's for doing everything that is wrong with meme coins.
And this is just one example of so many absolute slop token that Scharo is promoting. Again, it's not only Scharo, its the same for many many other "kols" that get endorsed and pushed by Pumpfun, GMGN also Axiom etc.
I guess it might just be impossible to fix, because they all make each other money, so stopping would be bad for everyone involved lol
Like @a1lon9 in my opinion if a KOL pushes a LARP like this one, that goes to 0 the same day, they should get banned from call out rewards. It is basically robbing with bad intentions in broad daylight. Need to fix and do something against this type of bad actors in the space
I’m coming out on behalf of my homie @RichResearching 👍🏽🙏🏼 he’s very shy but there’s no reason to feel ashamed, especially today.
