Just bought an inedible pasta from @marksandspencer Oxford station. No offer of refund. Called but told to go to food desk but there is none. Poor show

“This is a whole world of great lullabies, old and new, from Irish to Iroquois – each delightfully illustrated and complete with accompanying audio. It’s an instant classic. A lovely book.” - Wonderful words from @TimLihoreau about Lullaby Time! uk.bookshop.org/books/lullab…

This is brilliant & incredibly relevant to the now. On a much less serious note, I wonder whether a few modern day racist bigots with newspaper columns & TV slots have been deliberately aping Enoch Powell's appearance...
Replying to @PigginPiggins
Saw this wonderful clip of Sir Jonathan Miller tearing up Enoch Powell's divisive rhetoric on the Dick Cavett show, reminding us all that we don’t have to accept racism and xenophobia in our politics. We should see it for what it is, and call it out. Always.
