This same thing happened to me with a certain someone just all of a sudden banning me and blocking me from discord. I was warned that because I was friends with others that it would happen. Happened shortly after a remodel of his studio where he asked for feedback and was honest.
The #3DPrinting community can be an incredibly welcoming place, filled with wonderful people. Until you, knowingly or unknowingly, cross the wrong one(s). That's when you learn what happens when the welcome has worn out.
For the better part of this year, I thought something was going on, and last week I was informed my suspicions were correct:
I am "being cancelled" by some folks in the community.
I was told a couple of years ago this would happen as my follower count grew, because of the people I chose to associate with, and because I've been so outspoken about certain groups and brands.
I could go into a laundry list of specifics, detailing the things that've happened to me. I've posted about some of them as they've occurred.
I've always tried to be helpful, supportive, and encouraging. I've delighted in watching the personal and business successes, and commiserated with the setbacks, of those I associate with. I have bought and sent folks printers, parts, and filament when they didn't have the money to do it for themselves, even though I'm on a fixed income myself.
None of that matters to these folks.
If you don't like what they like, support who they support (with subs, bits, buying their merchandise, contributing to their Throne list, giving them free stuff, etc.), say nice things about the brands who sponsor them, they will actively work to exorcise you from what they see as "their" community.
They will lie about you, tell your mutuals it's either you or them, get folks to block you, and destroy your reputation and standing within the community. You don't have to believe me, but I've seen it happen. Several Twitch streamers I used to watch no longer stream because of them. And it's happened to me in the last ten months.
I've never mentioned any names, and I don't intend to now; it's counter-productive, and won't change any of their behavior. Some of you may already know who these people are, having felt their sting on your own.
What I will say is I am undecided about my future here, and with the community, because this kind of behavior is petty, childish, and reprehensible.
I deserve better. We all do.
13 Skull Bowl scaled to 75% Printed on Centauri Carbon. Nebula Purple PLA. If you decide to print it, you will get an error it is too small. Select yes and you will get correct size. #hotmakes #makerdeck #3dprint thingiverse.com/thing:628130…
This showed up today. Definitely bigger than the Elegoo CC2 Tophat. Seems well made and has easy access to everything.
I'm here live at Dynamite and it feels like a PPV and not a weekly show. Loving it. #aewdynamite #aew #dynamite
Your Philly leaves a lot to be desired. Very little meat and veggies and all bread. That was a small with only 2 bites taken.

With 3D Printing, all kinds of things are possible. You make custom things that normally wouldn't be custom unless you special ordered them. Like this knob I printed for the Numark Mixstream Pro. #makerdeck #hotmakes
Had my first DJ stream tonight on Twitch. May not have had as many join in but it was the most fun I had in a long time. Will definitely be doing it again soon.

Did you know that you can grind down or drill out an old nozzle to unlock a secret ✨ 1.8mm nozzle. You’ll use a ton of filament, but at least you’ll never get clogs! #3dprinting #cookiecad #lfam #bignozzle
Yes, the Asus ROG Ally with Z1 Extreme and 12GB RAM plays Crysis. On high settings: 45 fps low, 90 fps high. Very playable.
