Bitcoin since the start of time, back when Satoshi still posted. I talk about how this market works, one mechanism at a time. Wallets, liquidations, custody.

Money you need permission to use was never really yours. That idea got me into bitcoin:native early, and it has not let go of me since. Bitcoin is ordinary people taking their financial freedom back. Most people have just never been shown how it actually works. Showing them is the other half of this account. Wallets, chains, markets, one mechanism at a time, explained before they cost you. Learn how the thing works and nobody can sell you your own ignorance again. No price targets. No forecasts. If I post a number, it's a fact. Say something in the replies. I read all of them.

Three days of $BTC ETF inflows, $1.08B, and my timeline called October saved. Thursday pulled $635M back out, the biggest single day since June per SoSoValue. October is net negative again, $175M. Same week is still $443M in. Depends where you start counting.

Someone asked the Cardano treasury for 22 million $ADA, about $5M, to buy copper. Physical cathodes, tokenized. I assumed a joke. Then I got to the math. By the proposal's own assumptions, copper has to climb roughly 49.4% before the treasury gets its money back.

i'm becoming more cautious about the market here after being pretty bullish recently BTC, ETH and SOL are trading around important support levels, which makes shorting at this stage particularly tricky i'd rather focus on managing risk, taking profits where appropriate and keeping flexibility than forcing trades in either direction the market could still bounce from here, but i'm less confident in the bullish setup than i was a few weeks ago

Two weeks on that $1B government $BTC move and we finally have a destination! Coinbase Prime deposit addresses, per @arkham's labels. Where the coins went is on chain. Whether anyone hit sell is not. A deposit is not a sale.

Nothing says sound money like two governments queueing to confiscate it. Chinese prosecutors want the $5.1B in $BTC the UK seized in the Qian case, per Decrypt. Tianjin hears it in six months. London's fight over them continues. I find this funnier than I should.

A crypto launch that asks nobody to migrate. I read it twice. @the_matter_labs Prividium Commander, per The Defiant: app permissions on the chain you already run, custody and signing providers untouched. We lose more pilots to migration than to hacks.

I keep hearing $ETH has no use case. Drift's exploiter found one. $109M into Tornado Cash in two days, nearly 37% of April's $295M, per Onchain Lens. @arkham shows $138M still in the wallets. Victims' recovery pool launched with about $3.1M.

$1.08B has left the $ETH ETFs in October, per SoSoValue. Biggest monthly outflow since November 2025, eight sessions still to go. That wipes September's $832M of inflows. $BTC ETFs are down just $67M for the month. I keep staring at that gap.

Cycle-top calls are back. The chart accounts making them treat $BTC as a trade. Cash supply is expanded in a meeting. The loss lands on everyone holding it. Bitcoin's was fixed in code in 2009. Never changed. No idea what it does next month. I know what cash does.

Half my timeline is reading FINMA's approval as Switzerland opening up to $BTC. Per The Block's report, crypto ETPs were already listed there and a fund already existed, gated to qualified investors. The new word is retail. The door was open. It just had a bouncer.

Stablecoin supply only shrinks one way. You hand coins back to the issuer, they burn them and pay out the dollars. So USD1 losing 8.7% of supply in nine days, per BigGo Finance, is cash leaving. Redemptions clustered in specific wallets. I keep wondering whose.

First spot $BTC ETF application filed in 2013. Approved 10 January 2024. More than a decade of no. I was on the forum then. A Wall Street fund holding coins was a punchline. Now the largest asset managers sell it to pension funds. They ran out of reasons to ignore it.

They weren't waiting on conviction, they were waiting on a wrapper their mandate allowed.

$370 million of insurance per client. That number in the @AnchorWatch launch stopped me. $BTC custody, fees capped at $10,000 a month, per The Block. We built this so nobody had to be trusted. Now trust has a price list. Still working out how I feel about that.

The bit that gets me in the Echo Protocol wind-down is the notice itself. Per The Defiant it gives two different November deadlines before collateral gets liquidated. Withdrawals and repayments stay open. If I had a loan there I would be repaying to the earlier date.

A farmer, tired of rats destroying his crops and stealing his grain, came up with a clever but cruel plan. He threw a dead pig into a deep, abandoned well. Attracted by the smell, nearly 80 rats rushed into the well to feast on the carcass. At first, everything seemed wonderful. There was more than enough food for everyone, and the rats ate until they were satisfied. But when the food was gone, they discovered something terrifying. The walls of the well were too steep to climb. They were trapped. Days passed, and hunger turned into desperation. Desperation turned into aggression. The rats that had once eaten peacefully beside one another began fighting for survival. Eventually, they began killing and eating each other. One by one, their numbers dwindled until only a single rat remained. Its eyes were bloodshot, and it had survived by consuming its own kind. Then the farmer returned, lowered a rope into the well, and rescued the last surviving rat. But he didn't save it out of kindness or compassion. The farmer knew the rat had learned to survive by hunting other rats. When he released it into his fields, it would continue killing its own kind instead of eating his grain. The farmer had turned his enemy into his greatest weapon. And that is the lesson of divide and conquer. Those who control the trap don't need to fight the battles themselves. They simply create the conditions in which others turn against one another. The rats believed their enemies were the other rats. They never realized that the true enemy was the farmer who had put them there. The greatest danger isn't always the enemy standing in front of you. Sometimes it's the one who created the conflict and stands quietly watching you destroy each other. Before you turn against your neighbor because of their political beliefs, ask yourself who benefits from keeping Americans divided. While we fight each other over Republican and Democrat, we may be overlooking those who profit from the conflict. Perhaps the real question isn't which side you're on, but who built the well—and why they want us fighting at the bottom of it.

Strategy bought $22M in Bitcoin, repurchased $193M in STRC. We’re seeing big moves in corporate crypto, but the numbers don’t always match the story.

Leverage doesn't predict direction. It decides how hard the move lands when direction finally shows up. That's why two identical-looking charts can behave completely differently. One has positioning stacked underneath it. The other doesn't.

Unagi liquidates Persona, NFTs, and UNA token contracts. 957 NFTs, a treasury, and IP up for sale until Nov 2. A big move in the crypto space, but the real story is what it means for the ecosystem.
