To understand why so many artists hate AI, it might help to know that before AI, the worst thing you could do in the art community was steal someone's work and pass it off as your own. Now thanks to AI, it's a half a trillion dollar industry.

AI is a massive liability. If you use it without informing your client and they get sued because you intentionally or unintentionally ripped someone off, that's a problem.
It's also a problem because AI can't be copyrighted, they have no rights to the work, anyone can use it.
