🇪🇸 WTF IS GOING ON IN SPAIN’S SECOND DIVISION?
Just days after the fatal collision involving Tenerife’s Jesús de Miguel, another brutal challenge left a player unconscious.
In Albacete vs. Sabadell, José Corpas went for a high volley and caught Quadri Liameed directly in the head.
Liameed went down unconscious, Corpas was shown a straight red, and the Sabadell midfielder had to be taken away by ambulance.
Dude 💀

Here is Jesús Owono’s reaction after his tackle on Jesús de Miguel:
- He was heading straight down the tunnel because he knew it was a red-card offence, which he was shown on the spot.
- His teammate even went over to greet him for the tackle, not realizing how serious the situation was.
- He rushed back immediately when he realized the severity of the situation.
It was a reckless tackle, and the consequences are heartbreaking. But we must remember that none of these players goes onto the pitch intending to take the life of a fellow player.

No 38-year-old point guard has ever even averaged 12 PPG in a season.
38-year-old Steph Curry is currently averaging 30.0 PPG (in 28.8 MPG) on 68.8% TS.
He’s been a Top 3 player so far this season. Do not take for granted the absurdity of what he’s doing.

The Warriors rally from a 17-point deficit and have won their fifth straight - something they hadn't done all last season.
- Steph is still cookin’ at 38.
- Charles Bassey with 19 and 8 off the bench.
They won ugly, but they do it against a team that hadn't played since Friday.
