i’m 15% to my goal 🥺 blown away by the support so far. can you all help me get to 25%? gofund.me/12abe6de
I literally only came on this app to see what Heather had to say. I’d like to think that we both taught each other things, but I think she taught me the most. This is a terrible loss for the disability community and for those that loved her. I hope she is at peace.

Happy disability pride, lovies. I joke about being too tired for this month bc, well, aren’t we all? But I do love sharing this space with people who *get it*
Being disabled is a versatile, challenging, occasionally beautiful and often painful experience. Proud to be seen.
I made some scrumptious crispy chocolate chip cookies tonight so everyone here is required to come over and have one 😌
My dog brought me her toy today even though I’ve never been able to physically throw it in the 13 years I’ve had her. Abled ppl should be more like my dog

Culturally, I identify as #Disabled. This initiative from @PBSAmerMasters is more than a series. It will share our history. We need this because our history is rarely, if ever, taught in schools. These stories will reframe what #Disability means to so many people. #TwoThumbsUp
"The [VIA] Initiative aims to expand @PBSAmerMasters ‘ commitment to stories and creatives within the larger #disability community, launching with a new series, Renegades, alongside a talent incubator and expanded accessibility features for programming distributed by the series."
