Guys stop making us side with Lux 😭😭🤣he's cooking
NHLANHLA LUX🚨 : yes, many of us don't want foreign-owned spaza shops. BUT before we rush to advocate for laws that could hurt them, remember our own gogos in the townships. Some have survived for 20–30 years by renting out rooms and spaza-shop spaces. Those rentals have paid school fees, university fees and put some of us through tertiary education. So before you fix one problem, think twice about who else your solution might hurt 🇿🇦

And let me stir the pot with more facts. It’s South African nationals who commit more heinous crimes than others in Botswana but you don’t see us deporting the ones here or hating on them.

There is a reason why I call Africa a village. I used to think building a business in Senegal was difficult because Senegal was poor. Then I realized I had it backwards. People are poor because they do not have enough income. Income mostly comes from jobs, and those jobs come from businesses. So when African countries make it so hard to start and run businesses, where are the jobs supposed to come from?

You don’t realize there’s always been lots of immigrants -both legal & illegal- in 🇧🇼 since day 1. Difference is the nationals are not barbarians like you, they let laws deal with miscreants. So you won’t be anywhere, fuckers. Such insufferable idiots, you South Africans. Crass
We will be there🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

I could never, and will never, understand an African in this colony called South Africa who has issues with the presence of Africans from outside SA but not the many non-Africans who are supposedly South African.

As a fellow African, why would you use a derogatory term to refer to other Africans? Nevermind the condescending discussion but calling Zimbabweans Zimbos is wrong. – at Botswana
Lol Batswana who claim to not have issues with Zimbos have no idea what Zimbos talk about in their WhatsApp groups 😂 Every single day Zimbos shame Batswana for something. But yal don’t hear Shona akere.

Life is not a Mzanzi magic biskop, focus on fixing your country by removing that party and asking for your land back instead of witch craft on a whole population. 🤣🤣whats wrong with you guys man.
I love this for Batswana, they were trashing talking SA not so long ago. I need Nigerians to mess their country and turn all of Gaborone into Lagos. Basotho need to migrate in numbers and steal copper cables and Zama zamas must get their diamonds too. Makunyiwe once!

The most painful thing is you actually believe that could happen😭 Botswana is not lawless.. we dont fool around here. Don't let the media fool you. Non of the nonsense you speak of can ever happen here. If they try, they should update their funeral policies. Ask all the criminals from SA that tried the armed robbery and hijacking shenanigans here.. where are they?

In all these Psquare saga, all I can imagine is how highly mature Peter is to have married Lola and keep his marriage together regardless of their age gap and the constant family drama. Mr P nah man you be.

Closing down businesses to create employment according to some adults. Incredible!

The world will surely remember the criminality going on in South Africa by South Africans against other Africans.
Moment a group of xenophobic and Afrophobic South Africans confronted an Ethiopian shop owner and demanded that he leave so they could take over his shop. Despite showing them his South African passport, explaining that he has lived in South Africa since 2006, obtained citizenship, and pays taxes, they refused to back down. He told them the only way they would take his shop was if they k!ll€d him.

I know people who say things like ‘their countries are not working that is why they come to our country’ might think they sound intelligent but in actual fact they sound quite naive about how the world works and it very embarrassing.

If you keep quiet or support injustice simply because it doesn’t affect you, make sure to maintain your silence when it comes to you.

I once had a friend named Diane. She was in big trouble. She needed $150 to complete her rent and her landlord was giving her a hard time. She asked me for help. I felt sorry for her. I lent her the money and said, “Please pay me back when you can.” She promised she would. Months passed. She never paid. She stopped answering my calls and messages. One day I saw her at the store. I walked up and said politely, “Diane, I need my money back. Can you pay me soon?” Her face changed. She got angry. She stepped close and said in a low voice, “If you ask me for that money again, I will make sure something bad happens to you. Don’t ever talk to me about it.” I was shocked. I had only tried to help her when she needed it. Now she threatened me instead of saying thank you or paying me back. I walked away and never spoke to her again. I learned a hard lesson that day.
