We enjoyed the 18th Asian Congress on Fluid Mechanics, which took place last week in Seoul, Korea, tremendously. There was a surprisingly large number of participants from all over the globe. We had great discussions with many of the professors and students

We were a Platinum Sponsor of the FMFP conference in Aligarh this year. We have been sponsoring the FMFP conferences since 2015. Next year will be our 10 year sponsorship anniversary! The highlights of our booth this year were our newest high-speed cameras for PIV.

We had a great time at the APS DFD conference in Salt Lake City. Our newly-introduced high-speed cameras for PIV were met with a lot of interest, especially our 21-megapixel model with 1000 fps, which is currently the largest resolution high-speed camera available on the market

The attached shows our Double Pulse PIV laser (model PIVotal-200) being tested at our sister company Microvec sp. z o.o. Since 2022, Microvec manufactures the most affordable world class lasers in Poland. These lasers has been delivered to Europe, Asia, North and South America

Microvec was invited to the 9th National FMFP Workshop on Advanced Research Techniques in Fluid Mechanics at the Aligarh Muslim University. In our workshop presentation, we gave an introduction to PIV and we provided a hands-on demonstration of a Microvec PIV system.

Microvec has once again sponsored the FMFP conference. This time, it was the 10th International and 50th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power, held at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur from the 20th to 22nd of December.
