Using AI art commercially is just delaying the inevitable - hiring an actual illustrator. Either because the art looks fucking whack or you get dragged so hard you retroactively have to do good by artists you may want/need to have a relationship with in the future. It pays to pay

i don't think u guys are getting it. the main issue with AI is not "you could've commissioned an artist to do this," it's "the AI is trained to steal from actual artists' work and recreate it with zero credit or payment whatsoever so that a random app dev can make money"
