With respect, when this judge orders a pause, does he mean... for there to be a pause?

A sign of relief (now that it's politically safe to admit).

In the Third Amended Complaint in Shelby v Lee, the Plaintiffs claim the State of Tennessee ignored the local accountability alternative. You know who else ignored it? The MSCS Board. They have met not once since advertising its formation as a "proactive alternative" in March.
Dear Judge Crenshaw,
Mother, may I hold a meeting?
Sincerely,
The people you ordered to stop meeting.

The Shelby County FY27 Adopted Budget is now online, and some of the errors with the budget overview page have returned.
I've reviewed Norris v Shelby County complaint concerning the state of the jail. Some feedback.
First, the timeline is off. The complaint makes reference to the SCSO deputy email being sent on June 6, as indicated in paragraphs 3, 44-47, and 238.
And finally, the complaint mentions the open letter Commissioner Charlie Caswell sent to Mayor Harris and Sheriff Bonner on July 10 (paragraph 242 and Exhibit 8) but does not mention my open letter to Mayor Harris on June 30, which was also widely covered by the news media. Why?
The letter I sent to Mayor Harris mentions the need for an engineering assessment of the main jail at 201 Poplar (also discussed in the complaint) but also references $58 million in recent jail repairs. Was this letter excluded because it harms the Plaintiff's case?
I'm not sure if a combined 1% decline is really evidence of a newsworthy trend. dailymemphian.com/subscriber…
Here's the August enrollment for MSCS alongside the May reporting for the municipal districts. Given that "enrollment numbers tend to decrease slightly throughout the year," it would be nice to see a synced snapshot of all districts.
