I'm moving away from Twitter to an alternative which isn't run by a lunatic. You'll find a link to my new home on the front page of my website at grepular.com You may as well unfollow me on Twitter as I don't plan to post anything here going forwards.

Blocked access to all my personally run websites/services from Russian IPs. Email-privacy-tester no longer services .ru email addresses. Will restore access once the entire of Ukraine is free, and if/when Russia rejoins the civilised world.

If you're running a #HashiCorp #Nomad batch job less frequently than every 3 mins, make sure you set gc.image_delay, or you'll do what I did and download the same docker image every time you need to run it. 4TB of wasted bw/month. Sorry @docker #baddefaults

Re my last Tweet. Don't take offence if I just unfollowed you. I'm just following people via my RSS gateway instead now.
Any DNS experts around? When querying ns3.cloudflare.com for cloudflare.com NS, they skip the ns7 glue for UDP, but not TCP. Is this allowed? Compare: `dig +tcp ns cloudflare.com @ns3.cloudflare.com` vs `dig ns cloudflare.com @ns3.cloudflare.com`

I assume it's a performance hack so they don't exceed 512 bytes and have to return a TRUNCATE response making the client repeat the request over TCP? If true, is it valid as per the RFCs, and even if not, would it cause any interoperability issues?
