UPDATE: The BFI IMAX opened over 80 screenings for pre-sales between DEC 15 - JAN 07 to attend the insane demand for #DunePartThree tickets, doing their best to accommodate 5 screenings per day including midnight screenings, to make sure everyone in the queue gets to book it today. Even so, best seats in most screenings are already gone, several screenings close to sell out. Even the currently last screening on JAN 07 is moments away from selling out. And we are still almost 60 days away from the opening. And as always, BFI IMAX tickets are not refundable and cost £23.50-£30.00 ($31.70-$40.50), and even so thousands of people are willing to book them almost two months, for holiday season when no one can predict their own schedule haha, and before a single soul has seen the actual film. It’s literally #TheOdyssey phenomenon all over again.

And yeah, WB is going ALL IN with #DunePartThree, as promo picks up with several posters for the Epic conclusion also released as ticket pre-sales are on fire across the globe. It’s almost like #Clayface and #TheCatInTheHat are not coming out in a couple of days. They are betting it all on the conclusion of #Dune, their last hope after a disastrous 2026 for the studio!

Also, it might be gone unnoticed how the marketing for #Clayface has been focusing on really pushing the film away from the DC / CBM fandom’ bubbles, going after casuals instead, specially horror fans. They are not just advertising it as the body horror it is rather than as a CBM. They want the horror crowd to be the main audience supporting this film, which is clever - and natural - given the kind of movie it is. Finally someone within these studios seems to have asked the basic question often forgotten: “who’s this movie for?” and promo team answered accordingly, targeting the right audience for it. An awareness which many films and their marketing failed to showcase this year, including several from WB themselves.

#DCStudios literally taking the “let the movie speak for itself” to the limit, as audiences attending surprise horror screenings TONIGHT in the U.K. will be surprised with early screenings of body horror #Clayface. Extremely confident, the studio aims for a new wave of positive WOM ahead of its official debut on FRI.
