Hi, I'm deleting Twitter this week.
It's been so nice getting to know people on here, I've met a lot of great people, and it's also been nice getting in touch with and hearing from people who love The Mitchells Vs. The Machines and Gravity Falls. Thank you all for being so kind and weird and wonderful.
But, the less i'm on Twitter, the happier I am- our time and attention are one of our most valuable commodities- and having that attention monetized and being fed outrage, i'm not sure is good for any of us- but it's good for the idiot running this website. I also despise this companies disgusting facist turn, and I don't want my data fed into a machine that will put humans out of work to feed it's nightmarish AI.
If you want to save any of my posts or threads- do it now! I'll be deleting tommorow.
If you'd like to contact me- reach out- i'm on instagram as @mikerianda.
Thanks and it's been so nice to know all of you and i'm grateful for the real connections I have made on here.
I LOVE this so much!

Hey studios, imagine if you didn’t have all these animation creators, directors, producers, artists, technicians and writers all creating hit movies and series for you? Adios ratings and box office. Respect is shown in more than words, it is shown with actions. Do the right thing. It’s a win win for us all. #StandWithAnimation
Thank you @joeytainment for this amazing pic of our #StandWithAnimation rally! Retweet and show the studios who powers animation!

Animation, today you stood together and instead of making something beautiful for your boss, you made something beautiful for yourselves.

It's no mystery that the animation industry is on the verge of collapse. Join animators TOMORROW at the Stand with Animation Rally! Help us show studios that we deserve better & give our negotiating committee the ammo it needs to secure the BEST deal possible.

Animation workers are barely scraping by while greedy CEOs make billions off their work! It’s time we stand shoulder to shoulder and DEMAND a fair deal for the human beings who create the worlds & characters we love. I’ll be at the #StandWithAnimationRally tomorrow! Will you? ✏️ ✊🔥

I'm a proud @IATSE union member, but the AI proposals from the recent Tentative Basic Agreement Summary have me feeling like IATSE is completely abandoning members like me whose jobs are exceptionally at risk from AI automation. A breakdown of why in the following thread 1/

/ I grew up in a IATSE family. I am from a #UnionStrong home. So It breaks my heart to see IATSE’s leadership pushed towards an iceberg called Generative AI, by trying to pass a contract that allows Studios to FORCE workers to use unethical Generative AI models. Lets talk-
