This entire Rose Bowl was the pinnacle of Stanford football, but I could argue that THIS play, not CMac’s opening TD, is the *actual* pinnacle of Stanford football. Up 28 in the second, they pull out a trick play just for fun, then @michaelrector dabs in the end zone. So cold.

In Georgia, you can buy a gun with no waiting period, but they want to limit how you distribute water—a basic human need—to someone waiting in line to vote.

In all honesty, if people think athletes at Stanford are treated “better” than non-athlete students, they’d be beyond appalled to learn of the many benefits fellow athletes at other Power 5 schools receive. Respect your opinion though.

"Athletes might as well be descended from Leland Stanford himself, for how well the University treats them." - Rachel D'Agui stanforddaily.com/2021/01/20…

Why are student-athletes more important than every other student?

I’m not “anti-athlete.” Athletes are fine. I have friends who are athletes. However, the way that the University prioritizes these athletes over the rest of us, is simply bullshit. We all know why...

Imagine if #BlackLivesMatter were the ones who were storming the Capitol building. Thousands of black people laying siege to the seat of government — in the middle of a joint session of Congress? Just imagine the reaction.

Disgraceful scenes in U.S. Congress. The United States stands for democracy around the world and it is now vital that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.
