Bit nostalgic watching Wenty tonight. My first job was on-course announcer at the track (circa 1980). It included relaying price fluctuations to the great Paul Ambrosoli, which was the highlight of my night. Remembering the great Winifred Bale & Dainty Dasher….

You can be excused for thing that Eagle Farm is the main meeting in Qld on Saturday by glancing at the jockeys list. Ben Thompson, Ange Jones, Siena Grima, all riding there instead of the Pink Ribbon meeting at the Gold Coast.

Big day for my boy King Emperor 4yrs, winning 1666m at only start 3. And the 8m stride-length.❤️

Can someone please explain the ‘no jockey’ for Silver Wedding in the Gai Waterhouse ? It’s kind of important!
