The amount of folks jumping straight to talking action in this is worrying. You always need to investigate and understand risks / rewards of taking action.

So I got round to installing a blue app today. Same username as here. Hit me up if you are there. I doubt I'll be here for that much longer

It’s sad really, there’s a bunch security of people scaring everyone about WiFi… and all it does it push money into VPN providers…. They pretend they know something you don’t…. (They don’t) If it sounds scary and secret must be true right… If it sounds like FUD it probably is. And sre the world might change next year but that’s true of everything in technology and Securty. The advice today might not stand up to the threat of tommorow but that’s why we have patching! I know insane isn’t it.. things change and we adapt! #Cyber
Public WiFi is so unsafe (it’s not it’s generally fine for personal/family use) that when I arp spoof and dns spoof not only do I get errors with TLS (this site doesn’t have hsts enabled) but my phone (android) literally warns me the network is acting in a suspicious manner…. That’s with defaults! If you harden the phone and browser a tiny bit by forcing dns over https (DoH) it will break the key component here (dns spoofing)!

Wear it, don't wear it. The true legacy of their sacrifice is that you have the freedom to choose. #Remember

As with most things, it depends on what's wrong. Other medical folks that can diagnose and treat patients as well, it's not just Doctors. Have a cold? Speak with a pharmacist. Nurse Practitioners or Specialists can deal with a range of things as well. Etc etc.

For the next hour, I will be greatly amused by finding out what "coffee bean 100" is in Welsh.

If you are paranoid about your romantic partner using your network / devices, you are in for an absolute treat if you ever have kids....
Hey infosec people with romantic partners & families: how do you handle your security, personal paranoia (we all have it), and letting romantic partner use your network? Laptop/desktop if they don’t have theirs when at your place? [1/2]

In all seriousness, if you have family who aren't very security minded, then I would encourage the following: - enable auto updates - take 5 when clicking on links - an open and safe space to ask for help if anything suspicious / malicious happens

Loved my time as a Weapons Artificer, This is a good overview of what Weapons do in Royal Navy (oh, and clean, don't forget cleaning)
Join the @RoyalNavy as a Weapon Engineer. I’ll tell you what we do in this 🧵 I have loved every one of my 36 years and joined as at the lowest rung of the ladder at just 16. I have had the same benefits that all sailors have, travel, great stories and experiences…….

Looking for twitter opinions. Attached is an overview of my current gaming system - fallout 4, CS:GO, Cities Skyline type of games. Should I just bin it all and start from scratch or look to upgrade components (and which ones should be prioritised)?
