Fauziah Ibrahim on #ABC just now: "Such a pity we can't have a poitical discussion without getting into a shouting match."
This from the person that set up publically accessible Twitter lists of "Labor Trolls/Thugs" and "Lobotomised Shitheads."
Nice one Fauziah. 🙄

#BREAKING 🚨 Home Affairs minister Tony Burke has told the ABC that Indi MP Helen Haines was struck twice yesterday
"What witnesses have described is a driver doing a u-turn to get into the car park and to ram Helen against her vehicle, then to reverse and do it a second time"

The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office announced it found an officer’s use of force was justified in the fatal shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley. How can anyone accept that conclusion when Kohen’s family and the public still have not been allowed to see the body-camera footage?
This is a department whose chief was fired after reports of racial slurs in his text messages, and whose officer faced a complaint alleging a racially offensive remark two days before he shot Kohen. If the footage supports the state’s decision, release it. We will not stop fighting until this family gets the truth. abcnews.com/US/wireStory/mis…

MAGA wannabe, Pooline, isn’t worried about a version of ICE happening here or U.S. style school shootings from the lax gun laws she supports…..yet she salivates at mass riots because then she can fuel more irrational, racist rage over migrants.
That’s ON’s only strategy

To mock someone for speaking openly about a medical condition that affects so many Australians is beneath contempt.
Jacqui’s courage gives voice to thousands of women who might otherwise suffer in silence.
Ridiculing her disrespects every one of them.

Toning down the political discourse needs to start with the media and it needs to stop now. They are responsible for the messaging.

Has there been a more vile person in Australian politics? Pauline says what you are thinking - absolute bullshit - she wants nothing but division & hate except when directed at her then she is the victim - vote for her at your complete peril - Trump Mk2

Dear @AngusTaylorMP
You say you're "deeply saddened" by the attack on Indi MP Helen Haines. A week ago, in the HoR QT, your Liberal MP Angie Bell called for the PM and Anne Aly to be "stoned in the square". A dangerous remark inciting violence. You're part of the problem. #auspol

Shout out to Ricky Jefferies, a local Wangaratta barber who pulled Helen Haines’ attacker from his vehicle, confiscated his knife and keep him there until police arrived. What a brave legend!

Corporate forces are bankrolling One Nation's surge, and the payoff could be $219m in public funding if current support levels remain.
The party sells itself as anti-establishment, but its backers are the establishment. Various powerful corporate sectors, including banking, hotels, mining and fossil fuels, all get a mention in the One Nation space.
"One Nation is commonly referred to as an anti-establishment populist party, but in reality it looks more like a clutch of mining and corporate lobbies in a trenchcoat."

Just terrible. Why on earth would anyone do this? Especially to someone who served their community so selflessly. I never thought we would see this in Australia.
