TBH, casually posting novel information discovery to X is how research should be done. Apparently this was #16 on the Smale's list of Mathematical Problems for the Next Century? Kinda shows that the value generated from AI does not scale linearly with token costs... After seeing this, bears are still probably going to say: "B-but where's the profit coming from after AI usage?" AI + capex is likely going to keep going brrr.
hello there the jacobian conjecture is false thanx to my close friend akhil for asking about it and my other close friend fable for working during the world cup final ((1+xy)^3 z + y^2 (1+xy) (4+3xy), y + 3 x (1+xy)^2 z + 3 x y^2 (4+3xy), 2 x - 3 x^2 y - x^3 z): \C^3\to \C^3, has jacobian determinant -2, and sends (0, 0, -1/4), (1, -3/2, 13/2), and (-1, 3/2, 13/2) to (-1/4, 0, 0)

Thought the $ALTS crypto deal looked interesting with a heavily Trump-affiliated coin now trading at a 10% discount to NAV, but then noticed that they are pricing the $WLFI token contributed in the placement at a 300% premium to the last sale 😂

The first stranger I ever talked to at a conference told me "if you want a friend in this business, get a dog" and walked away. The second conference I ever went to a CEO tried to get the organizer to kick me out. I was 15 at the time. We can be a mean bunch sometimes lol.

Most “genuises” on fintwit are one bad year away from looking like idiots, and most nobodies are one 20-bagger away from becoming legends. Don’t take it too seriously.

$SONM less than a week after receiving a $2.70/share buyout offer and pumping with a $1.90/share reverse merger LOI decides to raise $5.5m and dilute 80% at $0.75/share. Only in microcap land... newsfilecorp.com/release/257…

A lot of people on here talking about college admissions recently. I got rejected from every school I applied to except for Rutgers. That hurt. So I went to Rutgers. I took all the easiest classes and majored in something I already knew (accounting) so that I could spend all the class time sitting in the back of the room trading stocks. By the time I graduated I'd earned enough to set me up for the rest of my life just by trading. Ian hired me as soon as I graduated. I never used a single inch of my degree. This story is not for everyone but maybe it will help someone out there. If you're smart you will thrive in a meritocratic system. College admissions is not a meritocratic system.

The goal of an investment manager is to make it the biggest mistake of omission people ever make when they choose not to invest with you.

The key is remembering that $10m market caps need to do very little to go up 100%, and $200m market caps have to execute tremendously to double in a short time frame.
I own sub $10 million market cap companies and $200 million market cap companies and a bunch in between. Some have 10 employees and some have 200. Across many industries. I've been doing this for 20 years and love the game as much as when I started. It's so much fun.

Illiquidity alone isn't a thesis. A microcap that trades $20k/day among "real" investors is likely fairly priced. But a failed biotech down on $10m volume can very dislocated if it's all indiscriminate selling. It's not liquid vs illiquid. It's fundamental vs technical liquidity

$AMMX CFO on the call insisting Q2 revenues were $1.9m when all their filings said it was $3.8m is very confidence-inspiring 😂

Another $48k dividend today from $EZEN. That's $103k/share in dividends management has distributed to themselves after force-buying out everyone else for $32k/share. Almost $2 million that should have been split among minority holders but instead all went to management.
Something a little sketchy is going on at $EZEN right now. Management appears to have forced bought back all minority holders at a 40% discount to cash, and is now dividending all the excess cash to themselves. EZEN has always been a dark stock with a bit of cash. This January they announce a 1 for 700,000 share reverse split which cashed out almost all shareholders at $32,130/share post-split. With only 23 shares left outstanding post-split there can't be any minority holders left, as they would trigger the 4.9% poison pill. The main major holder left should be the CEO Jonathon Skeels who owned 40%. Since then EZEN has announced 2 dividends for $28,038 and $26,783 per share ($54,821 total), quite possibly with more to come. So earlier this year there was $54k+ per share of distributable cash on the books. Knowing that, management did a huge reverse split and cashed out minority holders for $32k per share, a 40%+ discount to cash. And now they're paying out all the leftover cash to themselves (the only owners left)?

$ACRS another biotech deal this AM. Comping their new drug against Upstream and Ubiquity Bio's lead programs, both of which just raised $300m which is about $ACRS entire current market cap?

Not sure why but there are always a bunch of biotech reverse merger deals in November every year. Last year was $QTTB and $LENZ, this year you have $GLYC, $AVTE, and $PULM. Dunno if it's timing to get index inclusion next year, or blackout related etc...

After $GLYC today Lucid Capital Markets has run 3 finished strategic alternatives processes: $ABIO (now $ORKA) up 90% on deal announcement $KTRA (now $HURA) up 68% on announcement $GLYC up 230% on announcement Quite impressive for a team that I believe just started in March.

$IKT kind of wild earlier this week it was a $9m market cap and yesterday announces a $110m placement, adding 3 new directors that sold their previous biotechs for $2b, $4b, and $5b each. #onlyinbiotech
