My wife’s grandpa, a Chargers fan, passed away last night. He had an inexplicable belief that when a player tackles another it should only count if the tackling player kissed him.
Not only did the Chargers not win for grandpa, but to my knowledge, no players kissed (need to review all 22).
My final straw for the 2026 Chargers
Kind of shocking that the Rams defense has been the worst at stopping teams that are trying to salt away the game

Not true, but not far off. Rivers had 191 five game stretches and in only one of them was his production as bad as Herbert's now.
On the other hand, Rivers' worst 2 stretches came on loaded teams, whereas LAC's current offense has fielded a lot of jabronis
Weird stat so I need to double check but I think this third GWD with no offensive snaps since 2015:
- NO 52, NYG 49, 2015. In that game, it was tied with 20 secs left and NYG's punter was called for a face mask on a punt return. The penalty set up a field goal with 5 seconds left.
- NE 33, MIA 27, 2025. MIA had just gone ahead 27–23 on a punt return touchdown. NE ran the next kickoff back 90 yards for a touchdown with 7:18 left, and NE never gave up the lead.
