Things I would change if I went back to my freshman year in HS:
⚾️I’d make weight training and nutrition the main focus
⚾️I’d appreciate the times spent playing with my friends more
⚾️I’d hit way more often and with more challenging Velo & movements off of machines
⚾️I’d respect and appreciate my coaches more for their time and sacrifices
⚾️I’d thank and appreciate my parents and grandparents more for everything they did for me
⚾️I wouldn’t focus on what’s gonna happen 4 years down the road, I’d appreciate the here and now

You won’t remember every game.
But you’ll remember the kid who broke down in your office.
The one who needed a coach to be more than just a coach.
