I have accounts at Post and Mastodon. Not doing anything with them yet, but who knows... mastodon.lol/@MitchellStein post.news/mhstein
The tone is everything. You could easily rewrite this piece, using all the same examples, from the perspective that Biden is the joyously clear choice to be the Dem nominee.

I'm starting to think — stay with me here — that the tech and media sectors are not indicative of the labor market as a whole.

Two things can be true at once: 1) We need to continue and accelerate the transition to EVs 2) EVs, as currently constructed, present an increased risk to pedestrians and other cars because of their weight nytimes.com/2023/01/11/opini… npr.org/2023/01/11/114848375…

Well worth your time. I think of the 9/11 numbers comparison often... We're losing that many people every week, yet many have stopped noticing. Thank you @gregggonsalves

I would like every budget story to start: Republicans, who are only worried about the deficit when there is a Democrat in the White House, said today...
Replying to @StevenTDennis
That gave way to the "Boehner Rule," that every dollar of debt limit increase had to be met with a dollar of the somewhat amorphous "cuts or reforms." That led to sequestration and a fiscal straightjacket on Obama's final six years in office, though the Boehner Rule didn't last.

McCarthy will need at least two of these six people to win every party line vote of the whole house: Biggs / Boebert / Gaetz Crane / Rosendale / Good None actually voted for him as Speaker

Just a reminder that if we default on our debt for as long as Kevin has flailed to become Speaker that could wipe out years, if not decades, of your 401k savings.
Here's the story that the press & even Dems are missing about the GOP chaos on Capitol Hill: These 20 Trump Republicans want the same thing Trump wants -- the power to destroy the country if they don't get what they want. That's what this is all about. editorialboard.com/obstructi…
