It is time to say this out loud: Donald is responsible for fuel prices. In the Sejm, Polish Prime Minister Tusk openly blamed Trump for the global fuel crisis.

🇺🇸‼️🇺🇦 Musk Shouldn’t Decide the Fate of a War with a Single Switch, — Sen. Coons Democratic Senator Coons criticized the single-person control of strategically important technologies. He compared it to a situation where one private individual could turn fighter jets, aircraft carriers or nuclear submarines on and off. 💬Our interests coincide with the interests of Ukraine, not Russia. However, Trump and Musk seem determined to tip the scales in Putin's favor.

Elon Musk ordered restrictions on Starlink’s military-grade service used by Ukraine, disrupting drone strikes and air defense operations, the Wall Street Journal reported. The move exposed Kyiv’s dependence on SpaceX as Ukrainian officials sought to restore connectivity amid worsening relations with Washington. kyivpost.com/post/87694

Democratic Senator Chris Coons criticized Elon Musk's control over strategically important technology, saying one person should not be able to influence the course of a war "with one switch." He compared it to a private individual being able to turn fighter jets, aircraft carriers or nuclear submarines on and off, and argued that dual-use technologies can be critical to modern combat. Coons said US interests align with Ukraine, not Russia. #Ukraine

As reported by the WSJ, Elon Musk personally ordered restrictions on the Starlink satellite communication service for military use in Ukraine. Both Musk and Trump expressed displeasure regarding Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries, prompting Musk to order a limit on connection speeds.

The Wall Street Journal confirms earlier Telegraph reporting - and accounts from my sources inside Ukraine - that Elon Musk and SpaceX were responsible for the deliberate crippling of Ukrainian military communications.

Well, somebody might want to inform the Modern War Institute at West Point, the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the U.S. Army War College, and basically every United States military commander, military scholar, and historian who has written extensively about this subject over the past four years that apparently they've all been wrong. At this point, I'm genuinely speechless. Military historians, please feel free to chime in on this discussion. Here's a perfect example. The Modern War Institute at West Point has published research on this very subject. What else is there to say? mwi.westpoint.edu/urban-warf…
In recounting once again this story of the battle for Kyiv that has zero connection to reality, Trump seems to be really disappointed that Russia didn’t end the war by conquering Kyiv in four hours.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Russian tanks did use highways to Kyiv in 2022 and took heavy losses. The main reason the 40-mile convoy failed was it lacked fuel and food. Ukraine blew bridges, flooded the Irpin, and ambushed columns. nbcpalmsprings.com/2025/08/15/fac… rusi.org/explore-our-re… npr.org/2022/03/01/108… mwi.westpoint.edu/urban-warfare-… euronews.com/my-europe/2025…

"Some U.S. officials say that Musk acted unilaterally and that Trump didn’t specifically order any retribution against Ukraine. But a person familiar with the situation said Musk talked to multiple senior administration officials, including with Trump, before imposing the new speed cap, which Ukrainian officials said had allowed Russian missiles to evade their defenses." Once again, for emphasis: this is Elon Musk unilaterally violating a contract between his company and a paying customer in a mission-critical situation, where lives were at risk and were almost certainly lost as a direct result of his actions, for purely personal reasons that had nothing to do with SpaceX's commercial interests. It's as serious a breach of trust as can possibly be imagined. Who could possibly trust a contract with a Musk-controlled company now?

🚨 The whole world needs to hear these words from Zelenskyy: “Of course, we are not losing this war, but we are losing people and time. And it's heartbreaking, because our children don't have a normal life, they don't have a childhood,” says the Ukrainian president, whose country is now experiencing something that feels very much like betrayal.

🇺🇦 HE CUT OFF HIS OWN FOOT WITH A KNIFE. HE SURVIVED 491 DAYS ON THE FRONT LINE. THEN A DRONE CAME TO RESCUE HIM. Imagine being trapped inside a concrete drainage pipe on a battlefield almost completely overrun by Russian forces. Your fellow soldier is dead. Both your legs are severely injured. The enemy knows exactly where you are, and you have no idea whether anyone will ever come to rescue you. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and somehow you are still alive. This is the extraordinary story of Kostiantyn Vlasenko, a Ukrainian soldier from Kryvyi Rih. Kostiantyn volunteered to defend Ukraine. He repeatedly asked to be enlisted because he believed fighting for his country was his duty. He was eventually assigned to a defensive position called "Vertun," a concrete drainage pipe converted into a makeshift military shelter. Together with another Ukrainian soldier, he held that position for months. Then, on February 16, his comrade was killed on his 50th birthday. From that moment, Kostiantyn was completely alone. Russian forces knew he was still there. They dropped a speaker playing a recorded message urging him to surrender, claiming that Ukraine had abandoned him and promising that a white drone would guide him to safety. His response over the radio was short and unmistakable: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself." He refused to surrender, even as Russian drones continued attacking his position. Eventually, an explosion shattered his left leg, while his right was also badly injured. Without medical treatment, the wounds became gangrenous. His left foot eventually detached as the tissue died. His right foot had to be amputated, and there was nobody to perform the operation. So Kostiantyn took a knife, placed his leg on a brick, and cut it off himself. "Tears were running down my face. I had to cut. So I cut," he recalled. Later, he even joked with his commander: "Congratulate me. I don't have flat feet anymore, and I don't wear size 44 shoes." When warmer weather arrived, he crawled back to the place where his severed feet had been left. There he saw orange-and-black butterflies gathering around the remains. "My God," he thought, "even butterflies came out of my legs." It sounds like something from a Stephen King novel. Ironically, his wife had sent him King's The Outsider in a care package. That book, memories of his family, and thoughts of his daughter Khrystyna helped him endure the unbearable isolation. Then something extraordinary happened. A Ukrainian drone arrived, not to drop explosives or deliver ammunition, but to evacuate a living soldier. The operator dropped instructions, landed the aircraft, and shut down its engines. Kostiantyn attached himself with a carabiner, looked into the camera, gave an OK sign, made a heart with his hands, and prepared to fly. As the drone carried him over a river, he was terrified that Russian forces would shoot it down. He couldn't swim, and falling into the water would almost certainly mean death. Other Ukrainian drones protected him during the evacuation. Russian forces shot down one of them, but the rescue aircraft continued flying. Against extraordinary odds, Kostiantyn reached safety. After 491 days at his position, after losing both feet, surviving relentless attacks, and enduring unimaginable suffering, he was finally rescued. The operation has been described as the first known battlefield evacuation of a wounded soldier by drone. What makes this story even more remarkable is Kostiantyn himself. Despite everything he survived, he doesn't consider himself a hero. "I don't like being first," he says. "I'd rather be second." There is something profoundly Ukrainian in those words: extraordinary courage without arrogance, unimaginable suffering without self-pity, and a stubborn determination to survive.

Dan Rather spots trouble Trump can't avoid much longer: 'Subject is bound to come up' "Most Americans don’t want to think about it, but in the background of these developments is this: Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason against the United States as 'levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.' By any objective measure, lifting Russian sanctions is giving aid and comfort to an enemy," Rather argued. rawstory.com/trump-putin-267…

I was just talking to my landlord, he is a total conservative from Florida and voted for Trump 3 times. His exact words were (and I was bit in shock): “I am a total conservative and Trump voter, you know that Mario. But I truly hope they will hand his head to him in the midterms because of his decisions on Russia”. He was literally saying this with a purple face. This is your preview of the incoming attractions in the midterms.
