1/2 Beware - False advertising at @lowes! We ordered a refrigerator during their 4th of July sale. Home Depot, Best Buy and others had the same fridge for the same price. Delivery date was July 27. A few days later we get an email. Just kidding! Can't deliver until Oct 4!

2/2 But guess what, the website shows you can order the fridge right now for an August 4th delivery. They are knowingly lying about the availability to get you to buy from them. 5+ hr OTP with them, and they are unwilling to help in any way. Beware of @lowes and don't shop there.

China's 2nd largest real estate developer just defaulted. Debt crossed $600B USD Note: Lehman was liquidated for $600B, also owned by many international banks. Ripple effect soon to come. TRADE: short RMB because likely China will devalue its currency to bail out Evergrande.

Perhaps surprisingly, the Stock market has performed substantially better under Democrat Administrations (annual IRR averaging 12.9%) than under Republican Administrations (annual IRR averaging 5.0%) going back 43.5 yrs (I didn't analyze data prior to Carter).

Here's how the COVID stock market crash compares with past market crashes. This drop happened far more quickly, bottomed out at about the same place (a drop of ~35%), and has recovered much more quickly. In fact, the market is just 1.03% away from its peak just prior to COVID.
