Here is a 72-byte alphanum MD5 collision with 1-byte difference for fun: md5("TEXTCOLLBYfGiJUETHQ4hAcKSMd5zYpgqf1YRDhkmxHkhPWptrkoyz28wnI9V0aHeAuaKnak") = md5("TEXTCOLLBYfGiJUETHQ4hEcKSMd5zYpgqf1YRDhkmxHkhPWptrkoyz28wnI9V0aHeAuaKnak")

Do not do this. Don't you dare. The one true timezone for databases is always UTC. You get this wrong at your peril and it haunts you forever. Allow me to demonstrate by sending some people into fits with three words: "Google Standard Time."

Todays' 25th July. Italy celebrates 80 years since the end of the fascist regime in Italy, which ended 25th July 1943. In Italian, we say it "cadde" (fell). It probably didn't fall enough, IMO.

Wow the architecture of this is hella interesting
While it was good that the public was able to access the unredacted documents, journalists who need to protect their sources should watch out for this kind of mistake by using tools like Dangerzone: dangerzone.rocks/

Treesitter grammars are much easier (in retrospect) than I thought! Here's a weird little file format, SMAUG MUD "help.are", which contains a chunk of text that gets highlighted by another grammar... and which supports concealing to reveal how it actually looks like in-game \o/

And here's the same "inner" syntax for colored text getting overridden to also highlight variable names, done with sub-syntaxes (like when having SQL literals in a C string, say). Awesome stuff once it works! Yup, also supports concealing... and spellcheck (spelllang=it)!

Looks like Rust could use some reflection.

In the past couple hour or so I've written _three_ tree-sitter grammars for three distinct weird/custom configuration file types. Open the files in nvim, and they're now properly/sanely highlighted, with cognition of what's what in the actual grammar of them! Amazing! Bliss!
