Our contacts with the American side regarding guarantees for the implementation of the arrangements reached recently and announced by the President of the United States are ongoing.
The prisoner exchange – 1,000 for 1,000 – is being prepared and must take place. The Americans assumed responsibility for these guarantees. Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters has handed over the lists for one thousand POWs to the Russian side.
There was American mediation in reaching this arrangement on the exchange, and accordingly, we expect the American side to play an active role in ensuring it’s fulfilled.

Let me be precise about what is happening here.
Trump keeps saying “NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.” He says it like a grievance. He will keep saying it. Expect it at every rally between now and 2028.
Understand what he is actually doing. He is not venting. He is building a case.
Because he knows what Russia is planning for the Baltic states, and he is pre-loading the public argument for why Article 5 does not apply when that moment arrives.
“We asked, they refused.” That is the exit ramp. Simple. Memorable. Wrong, but effective.
Article 5 covers armed attacks against members in Europe or North America. It was never designed to cover offensive wars the United States chooses to launch in the Middle East.
Article 6 makes this explicit. The Americans insisted on that language in 1949 precisely so they could not be dragged into Europe’s colonial wars.
Trump is now furious at a clause his predecessors wrote.
He called allies cowards. He told the United Kingdom to “build up some delayed courage.” He threatened France after Paris refused airspace for weapons bound for Israel. None of this is anger. It is choreography.
NATO allies had no legal or treaty obligation to join this war. The United States was not the victim of an attack. It was the instigator. What Trump is calling betrayal is allies reading the actual document.
Now to the harder question: can NATO hold without Washington?
Yes.
European members have every incentive to maintain the alliance, even in radically different form. Germany’s chief of defence has already ordered the military to be fully equipped by 2029, when Russian forces may have reconstituted sufficiently to test the eastern flank. That clock is running regardless of what happens in Washington.
European leaders have been forced to confront the need for a security architecture that can stand without the American pillar. That conversation was theoretical eighteen months ago. Iran made it operational.
The alliance survived the Suez crisis, when the United States humiliated Britain and France. It will survive this.

Given Trump’s Easter threats to carry out new war crimes in Iran, we should think one or two steps ahead about a coup attempt connected to the war. And then deter it. (1/17)

The father of Epstein's top Russian associate belonged to a small circle of intelligence experts who paved the way for the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
The author of House of Trump, House of Putin knew of her and suspected she was operating under a legend, but he didn't have the full story. I have uncovered the missing pieces.
I won’t keep you in suspense any longer: her name is Svetlana Pozhidaeva. While her name is already in the public domain, she hasn’t previously been linked to human trafficking, nor was the extent of her deep ties to the intelligence services understood—until now.
The following details establish her role as a key co-conspirator and uncover the depth of her connections to the Russian secret services.
Key Co-conspirator:
— Her first recorded contacts with Epstein date all the way back to 2008, making her his longest-standing and potentially first-ever Russian partner.
— She was photographed leaving Epstein’s Manhattan mansion with her luggage during Prince Andrew’s infamous four-day visit (December 2010).
— Along with Karyna Shuliak, she was officially designated as a beneficiary of the Butterfly Trust—a sophisticated offshore entity Epstein used to funnel millions to his inner circle.
— Svetlana was one of only three trusted women with direct access to Epstein’s finances. Alongside his long-time gatekeeper and his primary heir, she held the authority to approve card transactions—a position reserved exclusively for the inner circle.
— She was responsible for Epstein’s French operations and the trafficking of girls into France. She operated under the alias 'Julia Santos' in emails and, quite possibly, used a fake passport under that same name.
Links to Russian Intelligence:
— She is an alumna of MGIMO. It is Russia’s premier 'talent factory' for both high-level diplomacy and foreign intelligence. Her educational background perfectly aligns with her operational role. A graduate of MGIMO’s elite Russian-French master’s program with a dual degree from Nancy, France, she was uniquely qualified to spearhead Epstein’s French operations.
— In one of her interviews, Svetlana mentioned that her parents held high-ranking government positions during the Soviet era. However, they proved extremely difficult to trace. Their roles were far from public.
— Her father, Yuri Pozhidaev, as I’ve uncovered, was no ordinary intelligence operative. In the late 1970s, he was part of an elite group of specialists assigned to the Commander of the Afghan Air Force. Operating under deep cover before the official invasion, his mission involved the strategic preparation of airfields and infrastructure for Soviet forces.
— Her mother, whose rare patronymic 'Marselyevna' should have made her easy to track, has left virtually no digital footprint. However, as revealed in a letter by businessman Gregory Hold, she is also a member of the intelligence services (source: Epstein Files, Bates No. EFTA01757817). Recently, she was employed by Lukoil—one of Russia’s largest oil giants, which has long been viewed by analysts as a key vehicle for Russian state interests and influence abroad.
— Svetlana herself also worked for both Lukoil and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID). Given this background, her sudden pivot into the modeling world is highly suspicious and inexplicable—it bears all the hallmarks of a 'legend,' a classic cover story used in intelligence operations.
— Both of her parents were deeply involved in her life. They traveled to France and the United States, and personally met with Epstein himself. Furthermore, Svetlana reported that they were prepared to invest in a business venture of hers.
— Epstein was fully aware of her parents’ intelligence background, as evidenced by their correspondence.
Svetlana Pozhidaeva appears to remain in the United States to this day, though she has effectively vanished from the public eye.

most people use llm’s as if they’re trying to extract the best possible answers… but i use claude in maybe the weirdest way. anytime i think of something, i ask it to generate the smartest, most thought provoking questions it would ask & then rank them in order. i also
ask it to reason why it chose each question.
the coolest part is that over time, this has drastically sharpened my ability to ask better questions. i don’t always have the right answers, but damn, i always have the right questions.

It's pretty straight forward - OpenAI spontaneously emits @sama and @gdb, producing a short-lived @miramurati that converts to an @eshear via @bradlightcap decay.
@sama and @gdb undergo @satyanadella-catalyzed fusion with @MSFTResearch in a temporary bound state.
Since @eshear is a gluon he can mediate color-charge exchanges among board members: the @hlntnr exchange with @LHSummers preserves DC charge, and @TashaMcCauley exchange with @btaylor preserves SV-charge.
@adamdangelo is his own antiparticle and so remains in place, but traveling backwards in time.
The first half now plays out in reverse-time: the @MSFTResearch superposition collapses, @bradlightcap is re-absorbed along with @sama and @gdb into a new stable bound state.
The slight mass difference between exchanged board members adds 501(c) KeV of energy, causing net acceleration of the OpenAI ensemble.
