Offkai meet and greets: #MajokkoMeimi AKA never ask @kvnsky_ for help with meet and greets pt. 2, this one is gonna be long... Offkai 2025, I brought ygo packs to pull with Meimi to do a pack battle across the glitch stars girls. After that I would shyly appear at some events she was at (concerts at cons, tcg store collabs). I would also keep bumping into a certain guy who likes posting on twitter about going to Meimi m&gs and shilling her how to talk to vtubers streams. foreshadowing... - I planned a trip to Texas for Weebcon in April since it seemed there was gonna be a bunch of vtubers there. Seeing Meimi on the guest list I knew I needed to lock in, so I really studied her how to m&g stream. I pretty much had a talking point for every bullet point. All except one: something about requests or suggestions for future content. I am not picky, a lot of what Meimi does is fun so I don't mind either way. So I asked someone who I also know watches Meimi quite a bit... and I get a very particular request, but it was highly specific and he said Meimi would know who it is so I was like well at least I can play a messenger. The weebcon meet and greet is a whole other story for another day, but the main gist is that I ended up going back in line multiple times, going through my whole bullet point list, including the elephant in the room: kvnsky's favorite bit. So leading up to this Offkai, Meimi releases a how to vtuber meet and greets part 2. Heeding the updated advice, I had decided not to rely on cheap gimmicks anymore like pickup lines or strange requests and just come as I am, talk to and thank Meimi for the journey she had practically taken me on in the year between offkais. I walk up to the meet and greet and introduce myself. Meimi: Oh, so would you me to say nice things or did you want to get bullied today? I get so confused because I just said my name had no idea what I did yet, so I ask her what she meant by that? M: well you don't have any more weird requests this time or anything do you? and I instantly knew... - Kvnsky's favorite bit: Wife Night part 3... The short explanation is that he often asks Meimi for a sequel to a "series" of ASMR streams she did (see picture), whether it's on twitter or on comments of videos or now through meet and greets. At the time that I asked her at weebcon about them, I had not watched them so I had no context why he was crazy about them. She does do good ASMR tho, I would recommend any of them. And thus my Offkai 2026 got derailed by my naive belief in the antics, I spend a good chunk of the meet and greet deflecting fault onto the wife night enjoyer that I ended up speedrunning catching up with Meimi about the year. I was not really able to get to everything in time, but that's okay. I truly enjoyed my "unique" experience. When I got home and tuned into her offkai recap, she ended up talking about the favorite bit. "So there's this one guy who always comes..." PLEASE MEIMI DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!! I was going to leave it at weebcon, I am not a repeat offender. I'd rather chat about wotagei, gundam, ygo, and any other special interests we can gush about to each other. So yeah sorry for the long rant, I really do enjoy being able to chat with you at meet and greets. It's always a memorable experience, even if I am never prepared for when it turns south on me!!!
