I'm 100% against eugenics speak
It has unfathomably brought more evil and depravity to this world
It's given us abortion
It's given us euthanasia
It's destroyed the nuclear family
It's destroyed so much
If anyone is okay with this and follows me, unfollow me please
Okay y'all. Work is over! 🙌
Thank you for this week. It's been a good place to escape to.
However, I think I do need to take a break here and enjoy some offline time. Time to focus and recharge, catch up on IRL needs and such.
Have a wonderful weekend 🫶
This past week or so has just been the most fun I've had here on this hell site.
In fact, it's genuinely brought me a lot of happiness. And I don't know how, but it's really deepened my love for @WingusDingus_
Sorry, hun I'm going to embarrass you wholesomely 🩷

Hollywood made the mistake of abandoning beauty, art, and story.
We will gladly fill in the power vacuum.
I am going to try to make (poorly) something for #malfoidmonday / mondaymalfoid (idr)
"SNAPE: You know very well that you never wanted to live in darkness. You were simply born into it."
I swear my allergies are acting up 😭
Snape was finishing his work when Malfoy approached his desk.
MALFOY: Ah, what is it? Just get on with it why you call me ?.
SNAPE: Miss Malfoy, do you know the meaning of your wand?
MALFOY: Well, yes, of course. It has powerful healing magic and...
SNAPE: The meaning of your wand is purity.
Malfoy stopped.
SNAPE: I know you never wanted to live in darkness. You always wanted to walk in the light. Yet you reject and hate your own house because your father constantly pushed you beyond your capabilities, demanding more and more from you.
Malfoy looked down.
SNAPE: But when I look beyond all of that, I see something else. Your wand is made from unicorn hair. Unicorns are among the hardest magical creatures to corrupt. And I believe you have a purity of heart beyond anyone else in Hogwarts.
MALFOY: Even Harry?
SNAPE: Even Harry.
Malfoy looked confused.
MALFOY: What do you mean?
SNAPE: When you are near Harry, you feel warmth. When Harry is hurt, you feel that you can finally be useful to him. And when he is gone, your heart sometimes breaks.
Malfoy remained silent.
SNAPE: You tease him. You scheme against him. You pretend to hate him. But you keep doing it because whenever you are near him, you feel that warmth.
Malfoy's eyes began to water.
SNAPE: And yes, Miss Malfoy. I know you love him very much.
Malfoy turned away, desperately trying to hide her tears.
MALFOY: I...
A tear fell down her cheek.
SNAPE: It is all right to cry, Dracaena.
Malfoy covered her face.
SNAPE: You know very well that you never wanted to live in darkness. You were simply born into it.
Malfoy quietly cried.
SNAPE: Then that boy arrived. And somehow, whenever you were with him, he kept helping you. He kept pulling you toward the light, even when you didn't realize you were following him.
MALFOY: I just want to live normally.
SNAPE: I know, child.
Snape's voice became softer.
SNAPE: I know how difficult it is. But perhaps one day, you and Harry will finally be together.
Malfoy wiped her tears and gave him a small smile.
MALFOY: Thanks, Professor. But still...
She looked at him.
MALFOY: For someone who always looks like a ghost, you sure know how to handle someone's feelings.
She turned and walked away.
Snape watched her leave.
SNAPE: Oh, believe me...
He looked down at his desk.
For a moment, an old memory returned.
Lily.
SNAPE: I know this feeling.

I want to see them get torn apart due to each others' actions. As others said, they should fall apart during/due to book 5 and nearly completely and, on the surface, permanently separate in book 6.
Except for the faintest hope, no more than a hair's breadth wide, held deep within their souls that maybe what they had was real and could be real again.
That should be confirmed in the Malfoy Manor scene in book 7, when Malfoid, staring at Harry's beaten face, decides not to say she recognizes him. I want her to have a nearly imperceptible change in her face, one that only Harry can recognize due to how well he knows her, and for him to realize that she knows who he is and she chose not to say.
That should be the spark that reignited their love and hope, building slowly over the rest of the book.
Sorry, I'm rambling, but yes, I agree with you that that she needs to be evil in order to be redeemed.
All these Malfoid artists, animators, musicians and writers creating something special and beautiful...
Go support them y'all! 🫶
I've posted a video explaining why the new Malfoid meme is a dog whistle for neo nazi incels

Every time someone who supports this stuff tells you this is the line where they want it to end, they are lying.
Bill C-218 has been defeated.
Yesterday, MPs voted 187–141 against legislation that would have permanently prevented euthanasia when mental illness is the sole underlying medical condition.
The Liberal government says it will introduce its own legislation to keep this expansion paused—but at the same time, it plans to expand euthanasia through advance requests, allowing someone to request death before they lose the capacity to consent.
Euthanasia by advanced request is a very dangerous concept as it would permit doctors and nurse practitioners to kill someone who has become incompetent, based on an advanced request.
As Alex Schadenberg warns, this raises serious questions about consent, vulnerability and where Canada’s euthanasia regime is heading.
Read Alex Schadenberg’s analysis: Bill C-218 was defeated. What will happen next?

DO NOT FAULTER, MEN OF VALOR.
YOU. MUST.
YEARN.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of MALFOID.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of MALFOID.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of MALFOID.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of The Light.
Carry The Light of MALFOID.
YOU MUST CARRY MALFOID IN YOUR HEART.
FOREVERMORE.

There are many young men with great potential who have slipped between the cracks and been mistreated, and end up as incel-chud type. I understand it completely, it’s not that I can’t relate.
But sometimes it goes too far where being a loser is now a badge of honor, and malfunctioning behavior is treated as a good thing. This becomes a resentful and disgusting attitude.
Let us not become resentful of success, let us strive for it. There are jokes and all but I worry that some lose the plot and inverse the order of things.
I think another aspect of the Malfoid movement is the idea of hope.
Love encompasses many things: striving to do good, overcome challenges, redemption, healing. Hope is another.
We are all seemingly tired of the nihilism.
I think we are all yearning for hope, too.

It's uplifting to see how the people who have felt overlooked and dispised by a content industry that is determined to destroy Western values and Mytho-Poetic Romance have awakened. And the haters are terrified. They try to co-opt, corrupt, & pervert, but the people have spoken.
It is a cultural resurrection of the Mytho-Poetic Romance that Hollywood and the media has robbed from us for decades.
A re-seeding of hope in love, pure affection and the ability to grow together as people, despite our many flaws.
It is a rebirth of Hope and Yearning.
For without Yearning... the world stills, then descends into darkness.

Horace Slughorn is one of the most underrated characters in Harry Potter, and I think he represents one of the series’ most important messages better than almost anyone.
For years, Slytherin was portrayed as the “evil” House, with ambition often treated as a character flaw. Then Half-Blood Prince gave us Slughorn.
He’s ambitious, loves collecting talented students, and enjoys living vicariously through their achievements. It can be nepotistic, and he’s absolutely the kind of teacher who makes you feel overlooked when you’re not one of his favourites.
But there’s another side to him.
When Slughorn tells Harry about Lily’s fish, Francis, you realise that he doesn’t just collect successful students. He genuinely treasures them. He remembers their achievements, their kindness, and the moments that meant something to him.
His ambition doesn’t stop him from caring about people. In fact, he takes pride in seeing them succeed.
And that’s what makes him such an interesting Slytherin. Wanting to rise to the top doesn't mean you can't help others rise with you.
But there's also the tragedy of Tom Riddle. Slughorn wanted to help a talented student become great, only to realise that he'd helped someone become a monster. That failure haunted him.
Slughorn isn't perfect, and that's precisely the point. He's ambitious, flawed, selfish at times, but still capable of genuine affection and courage.
Snape explores a different idea: you don't have to be nice to do good. But Slughorn's story is a reminder that ambition doesn't automatically make you a bad person.
You can pursue greatness and still lift others up along the way. The choice is yours.
