많이 컸는데 한국말을 잘 모르는 아이들이 있더라고요.
매번 어머님이 통역 해줍니다.
그러다가 아이 혼자 온 날
" 한국말을 왜 안 배우려고 하니?"
조심스럽게 물어보니 아이가 번역기 앱으로 이야기 해줍니다.
"내가 굳이 왜 한국말을 배워야 할지 모르겠어요."
다문화=사회적약자로 보는 시각이 오히려 편협하지
서울시 등 지방정부들이 다문화가족을 우대하는 제도가 문제되고 있습니다.
다문화가족들이 피해를 입지 않는 것을 넘어 우대까지 할 필요성이 큰 지, 우대제도 폐지가 필요한 지 등에 대해 지방정부와 협의는 물론 시행령 개정까지 포함해 깊이 검토해 보겠습니다.
