I really hope MLB doesn’t overthink the next CBA. A shorter season and fewer dead days in October make sense, but letting teams pick their playoff opponent sounds like something nobody was asking for.
The bigger issue is still the salary cap fight, because if that gets ugly enough we could be talking about the 2027 season being delayed or worse.

In an NBA TV interview, LeBron James was asked to name the four greatest players in NBA history.
He picked Jordan, Magic, Bird, and Oscar Robertson, then added that he himself would definitely be in that top four.
If there wasn’t room for him, he said, somebody would have to be removed.

Estoy harta de propuestas genéricas: bajaremos los impuestos. No, eso no vale.
Aquí Figaredo explica clarito su propuesta concreta para el IRPF.
- Exención hasta los 22.000 €.
- Un 15 % hasta 70.000.
- A partir de ahí al 25 %.
Dejas tranquilos a los que menos cobran, los sueldos de clase media real no son esquilmados y los que más ingresan, más de 70.000 no es rico, tampoco son atracados por la banda del Algarrobo.
Y no, los servicios públicos no se verían afectados: tenemos 46 muertos por falta de mantenimiento de las vías ferroviarias, las carreteras son intransitables, los hospitales y centros de salud están colapsados... y todo con la mayor recaudación fiscal de la historia. Jamás habíamos sido expoliados como ahora y recibido menos a cambio.
Sólo hay que eliminar subvenciones a todo parásito de cualquier tipo y gestionar el dinero como si fuera el de tu propia casa. No hay más.

Meet Miguel Rojas.
He studied all 100 citizenship questions. He wanted no special treatment because he’s a professional baseball player. And when he passed, he said he was prouder of that perfect score than his World Series home run.
What stood out to me most was his gratitude. He talked about America opening its doors to him 21 years ago and said he’s never taken that opportunity for granted.
Preparation. Respect for the process. Gratitude for the country that gave you an opportunity. Wanting to contribute and be judged by your character, not your status.
