I would never have believed I would be watching my Purdue Boilermakers play boys we know from Abbotsford’s UFV in Vancouver! It was a fun day- even enjoyed a nice chat with coach Matt Painter whom I went to Purdue with (same years). Boiler Up!
Ezekiel’s grandfather ran in my group with Run for Water Ultras years ago- My heart breaks for Pete, his family, and all of the broken branches on the various family trees. My deepest condolences.
#RIP: Tumbler Ridge Victim, 13-YO Ezekiel Schofield Is One Of The Students Who Lost His Life In The Mass Shooting. 🕊️🌺
Grandfather: "Everything feels so surreal. The tears just keep flowing. So many young lives were ended so needlessly. Our hearts are broken not only for Ezekiel, but for every family affected by this tragedy." 🙏

Did you know?
In 1958, NORAD accidentally created the tradition of tracking Santa Claus.
A Sears department store printed a Christmas ad telling kids to call Santa—but the phone number had a typo and rang directly to the U.S. military’s top command center. Instead of hanging up, the officer on duty told the child Santa was on his way. That one kind response turned into an annual tradition where NORAD now uses satellites, radar, and fighter jets to “track” Santa’s journey around the world every Christmas Eve.

The White Rock Pier is an iconic B.C. destination and economic driver. MP Ernie Klassen and the community here have been working to restore and preserve it.
So, we’re stepping in and investing to revitalise the pier in Budget 2025 — with more local infrastructure projects across Canada that will build communities strong.

The Trump Trade War against Canada is going so well that Canada created 60,000 jobs last month, many of them in manufacturing.
We’re importing less US product and exporting to more places in the world.
Early in this changeover, these are remarkable gains.
Thanks @MarkJCarney
