voted down ballot dem today in florida, really don’t have my hopes up but would be nice to at least see some dem wins this time around. also voted yes on amendment 1 and no on 2 & 3.
i want to love lanterns so bad, and mostly did, but i can’t help but shake the feeling that if this is all we get of hal jordan in the dcu, i will be pretty disappointed. this story feels like something we should’ve gotten after 10 years of hal in the dcu, not the first project.
kyle chandler genuinely gives a phenomenal performance as hal jordan, and if this is where it ends, it feels like a generational fumble. the dcu established an amazing dynamic between him and john, just to end it just as fast. also, kerry killing hal felt pretty sloppy.
