the fact that grass can become a sweater through the intermediary of a sheep ought to astonish us more than it does.
the average person doesn't appreciate wool enough

too many people building agents and not enough people using software to improve the quality of fish
we have a winner for the most absurd AI startup ever this Peter Thiel backed company uses AI robots to stab fish in the brain so they taste better and last up to 3x longer it's called Shinkei and it modernizes a centuries-old Japanese technique dozens of Michelin-star restaurants are already lining up to buy the fish here's how it works: > the problem is when a fish gets caught, it usually just suffocates on the boat > that stress floods the meat with hormones and lactic acid, which hurts the flavor and texture > the old Japanese fix for this was spiking the fish through the brain right after the catch, which stops all that > but doing it by hand is impractical for most American fishing crews > so Shinkei built a fridge-sized robot that sits right on the boat's deck > the crew feeds in a fish and AI identifies the exact species, so it knows exactly where the brain and gills are > the robot then drives the spike through the brain and cuts near the gills in about 7 seconds > the fish goes into an ice slurry so the blood drains out > so the fish doesn't sit there stressing out, and that tasty flavor and texture is preserved example number 5,392,417 of how AI can be applied to literally anything

Announcing the official AI module for NestJS 🧠 npm i @nestjs/ai Register models by name, call them with timeouts, retries and fallback models, and let agents call your own provider methods through the guards and policies you already have. docs.nestjs.com/ai/overview

With the recent wave of vulnerability disclosures, it’s a good time to take a closer look at your own code. Turn your coding agent into a team of security auditors with the open-source skill that seeded Cloudflare’s vulnerability discovery harness. The 6 phase approach: 1. Map the codebase 2. Hunt for vulnerabilities 3. Challenge each candidate 4. Record the findings 5. Verify the findings 6. Report what’s confirmed, rejected, or still needs validation Start your hunt here: github.com/cloudflare/securi…

At some point , I genuinely wanted to be marine biologist because of the show and the fact that I lived about 5km away from the beach. Remember being blown away by the fact I could see the Indian Ocean right from my lawn, watching cargo ships and whales!
Growing up I used to absolutely love watching the show called Shoreline on SABC2 and later SABC3. It truly sparked my desire for adventure, South African history , love for nature, and general conservation. Now I get to rewatch it on @SABCPlus.

Your Harness. You Define It. Meet Creator Mode in DeepSeek Harness. Turn ideas into plugins that you can use, from a design workspace to a sandbox game or a 3D LLM visualizer. What will you create?

Here’s how to build a RAG system from scratch in under 50 lines of Python. No LangChain, no vector database, and no closed-source models. We’ll build the whole thing step by step so you can see exactly how chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and generation fit together. Never thought of this
If I were a software engineer I would simply leave the bugs out of the codebase. I don’t understand why this isn’t common practice in the industry.
