Hey @NandosSA, since your marketing is always on the ball with issues in SA, how about you build a marketing campaign around educating people about anti racism, sexism and misogyny. Right now it feels like you promote all of those. And you need to do more than you've done so far.

When they try to talk over you and tell you that your experiences as a black woman in South Africa do not matter🤦🏽♀️. Racism is structural and even operates at a municipal level. The literal definition of black lives don’t matter. 💀

"It's not just #COVID19 that is killing people,
it's underprivilege,
it's lack of access,
it's years of living with health conditions that haven't been properly managed because of the colour of your skin, or your ethnicity, or your social group"- @DrMikeRyan #HealthForAll
Wow! Go @Trevornoah
In a year that most human beings would love to forget, there has been one constant force that has brought us together - Music. I’m truly honoured to be hosting The #GRAMMYs, a night celebrating all of our favourite artists who’ve helped keep us sane while we’re all stuck indoors!
What breaks my heart @Clicks_SA is that you essentially said MY daughters hair isn't NORMAL! Making my girls feel like blonde, straight hair is normal, while theirs is dry, frizzy & damaged is despicable! Do you know how damaging that is to a little girl's self esteem?! #DoBetter
Young people say it only affects the elderly and those with immune issues. We'll be ok. But those people will get sick because some1 like you passed it on to them. Maybe the panic will be all for nothing but please can we rather be safe than sorry?

RIP #JohnnyClegg. You broke down barriers with your music. Growing up in apartheid SA, I saw u dancing on TV & knew that u werent the norm. You gave me hope that others could be like u. U were a true African hero and u will live on in our hearts forever, through your songs.
The @thecure were incredible last night at #RockOnTheLawn. I loved every second of it. My only question is why no #Lovecats?! I was devastated to not hear one of their biggest hits, and one of my all time favourites. It's like Queen skipping Bohemian Rapsody!

I'm totally bewildered with the lack of empathy shown by many white South Africans. You don't need to be woke to get that for the most part we have benefited from the marginalisation and exclusion of people of colour. Own your priveldge, appreciate it and pay it forward 🇿🇦
Sitting in a chair in my sick 2 year old's room at 2am after many clean ups of linen, worrying that it'll happen again, and I know I'm not the only mom to experience this worry. I'm a white mom with a beautiful, brown daughter. One day she will be a beautiful brown woman.
Me being her mom doesn't make her more "white". If anything, I hope it makes me more brown, because the more I can feel her pain, the better I can help her cope with what life will throw at her. I'll never be fully equipped for it. But I'll never stop trying to be.
I love my daughter fiercely. And I will always fight to protect her. No matter the consequences for me. She's all that matters. My name is Melanie, and I am a #RecoveringRacist #ImWithDannyK @dannykmusic #PassionateAboutAdoption #LGBTIQ #LoveWins #ProudlySA
