Washington, DC. People from Baltimore were confused about why I was obsessed with going to DC after my internship at HHS. I knew there was so much opportunity in DC to expand in every way. Most people from Baltimore barely even go from one side of town to the other.

It’s sad really because a global city is an hour away from Baltimore but yet most people back home are obsessed with which high school you went to. Philly is 2 hours away NYC is 4 hours away All can accessed by car or train.

Broadcom just made it significantly harder to leave VMware. The company quietly removed public downloads of the Virtual Disk Development Kit (VDDK), with no announcement and no alternative route provided. This library sits at the core of nearly every VMware migration tool on the market, including offerings from Microsoft, Red Hat, and Nutanix. If you need it now, you have to contact Broadcom support and hope your account shows the right VMware entitlements. Many customers are already reporting 404 errors and being told the library is simply "unavailable." This is not an accident by the way. This is a deliberate business decision by Broadcom to keep user with VMWARE. How else will they justify their acquisition?
