Michigan had it 1st & 10 inside the IU 13-yard line 4 times in the 2nd half/OT & netted 1 total yard & 6 points.
I have no words to describe how bad this is. I’ve never seen anything like it.

When CJ Carr goes to watch his brother Tommy Carr play, it’s a great story. But when a friend of mine goes to watch my son Ryan Day play, Pete Thamel throws a fit.

Interesting that the frenzy online isn’t what it was from the last time because the big brand people were rooting against was the one who got screwed this time around
Big 12 statement:
"Following the Big 12’s review of the final play of Saturday’s Notre Dame-BYU game, it was determined that time remained on the clock when the ball hit the ground and the play was incorrectly cleared by the replay officiating crew. The Conference will conduct a complete review of its end-of-game officiating process in advance of next week's games."

24 team playoff will just continue to devalue the regular season.
We will never see another edition of THE Game like 2023.
11-0 vs 11-0.
Winner- to the Big Ten Championship and playoffs
Loser- Season over. Dog shit bowl vs Mizzou
Stakes will never be that high again.

As the College Football Playoff expands yet again, it's important to note that all titles since the CFP expanded for the '24 season and beyond deserve an asterisk and the last pure National Championship belongs to the 15-0 University of Michigan Wolverines in 2023.
God bless.

“We don’t lose games here at Ohio State,” said the coach of the team that has lost 3 of its last 4 games, with the lone victory coming against Ball State.

Absolutely. I went deep dive on this. There are lots of angles out there, you can stopwatch the play and all sorts of things. There are explanations on why the NBC broadcast slowly diverts from the pregame "sync."
I went into it believing Western Michigan got screwed but after reviewing it all and talking to experts, there was time left. There just was. Michigan deserved the extra play.
The replay protocols were not followed - which is what the MAC protested and the NCAA is saying - but in real life, in the actual stadium, under the actual clock, Michigan won.
Believe whatever you want, doesn't matter to me. In the end this is a game that is always imprecise - spotting the ball, the clock, etc - so expecting it to be precise at the end might be too much. But the facts are the facts here.
Replying to @DanWetzel
You’re so full of shit… this is the credible evidence you’re staking your reporting on? A video from over 100 yards away? And even clearly at that, the DB hasn’t touched the ball yet? Get some real sources/feeds instead of twitter blowhards.

Let’s be clear:
The protocol called for the refs to NOT use the CORRECT stadium clock.
The protocols called for the refs to use the INACCURATE TV clock.
So when people talk about a “secret clock,” they are referring to the in-stadium clock that every coach and player sees.

Very good explanation here.
The referee put 9 seconds on the clock. But NBC’s clock went from 0:09 to 0:08 immediately upon the snap, indicating that either NBC’s clock was off and/or the clock was between 0:08.99 to 0:08.00 while it showed 0:08 on your screen…
Which means the clock you saw on TV was between 0:00.99 and 0:00.00 while it showed 0:00.
