The last time I was on a transatlantic flight was 8 years ago. I had just said goodbye to my partner of 5 months as we got on different flights, unsure if we'd ever see each other again. Today we're both on our first transatlantic flight since then for our honeymoon.

Yesterday I came out of work to see that someone had cleared my car off for me then got home to see that my neighbours had used their snow blower to clear my driveway. So thankful for the wonderful community in #CityofPG

I got in the weeds today trying to teach my class how to calculate simple vs compound interest and ended up talking about credit cards, interest rates for savings accounts, credit scores, mortgages, etc. But it was one of the most engaging discussions we've had all year!

They're maybe a little bit young for all of it, but hopefully when they hear about those things again in highschool the little bit of background knowledge is helpful? They definitely had soooo many more questions than I was anticipating.

What is going on in #cityofPG and covid vaccines? There are zero appointments available to book on get vaccinated and when I went to the pharmacy for my flu shot they were turning people away who had appointments because they didn't have any covid vaccines. @Northern_Health

I finally got a text to book vaccines. Was able to book for the flu later today but all of PG has like 15 appointments available for the covid vaccine. All in Dec and all at 2 pm on a work day. Hopefully more will be added if I check back later?

It's been a busy day today but I just remembered that one of the anti-choice protesters between the casino and board office today was wearing a handmaid's tale costume and I don't get it? #cityofpg

"How many LGBTQ2+ students are in elementary school?  Almost none." Tell me you're out of touch with what's going on in schools without telling me you're out of touch with what's going on in schools.
If Daryl Beauregard really believed in safety for all students, things would have calmed down, and the school board would have been able to focus on the job at hand. princegeorgecitizen.com/opin…

Why is it that my weekly schedule changes immediately after I print 20+ copies of it? I'm not tempting fate with this one and am only going to print 3 which means there will likely be no more changes.

Nothing like getting ready for bed the night before the first day of school and then having a backyard bear encounter that spikes your adrenaline. I think I'm going to push my alarm time by 30 minutes.

I used the search function to find a specific email I needed and it turns out it was one of the unread ones. And now I'm an inbox 51 girlie? This is unacceptable so I'm going to have to go deal with those emails now.
I'm usually an inbox 0 girlie but I've been a bit overwhelmed lately so I'm now an inbox 52 girlie. I'm not up to dealing with those 52 emails but I'm not going to let it get worse, either.

It took me less than 5 minutes and only 2 of those emails were important enough to keep. I might need to change my 2 minute rule to a 5 minute rule.

My partner needed a digital camera and I knew I had one in a drawer so went to get it. There were 3 cameras and I had no memory of where 2 of them came from. Turns out each one belonged to one of my grandmothers and when they died I wasn't in the space to look at the photos.

Now looking through photos of my grandmothers and my family that I've never seen before. Not where I thought this day was going!

If you have some of the worst air quality in Canada, and while you go grocery shopping for 1.5 hours, your partner leaves 2 of the house doors open, is that grounds for divorce?

One thing I'm genuinely excited for this summer is that two of my long time friends finally get to meet my dog.

I'm shocked that it took until now for my partner and I to enter mug collection amalgamation negotiations. We're both teachers so there are a lot of mugs.

Based on comments from the cashier at the grocery store, it seems like a lot of elementary school teachers are also buying bubbles and salad at 7:15 in the morning.

I couldn't understand this afternoon why so many teens were loitering outside the TD Bank at Pine Center until I saw a bunch of cars pull up to (presumably) pick up their kids. Is every school drop off/pick up here just so terrible?? #cityofPG
