A special look back at the 2026 Mountaineers!
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐚 debuts this Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Overreaction Monday is gonna be wild!! And Pat is for sure coming for @morgan_freeman for breakin his heart! 😂😂💛💙
This is amazing!! I want this in my house!
I’m officially out of ideas. This was a fun project that I think the kids will enjoy. Hoping @WVUfootball spends many Saturdays in this area.
My old home among the hills is going thru it right now. Thinking of everyone in Sunny Buck and the other flooded areas in WV. 😢
West Virginia's response is fully underway.
Latest operational update:
• 85 rescues involving West Virginia DNR
• 310 National Guard personnel deployed
• 19 National Guard/State Police helicopters on or available for rescue missions
• 3 Shelters stood up for displaced residents
• No civilians currently unaccounted for
• No confirmed fatalities
Governor Morrisey is traveling to the affected communities to assess damage firsthand, meet with local officials and first responders, receive operational briefings, and provide an update on the state's response and recovery efforts.

Pat McAfee fired shots at Ryan Clark long before ESPN fired Clark.
Clark made a comment that kickers like McAfee are not "real" football players.
McAfee responded.
We prefer to say Cue Country Roads! Right @CharlesWesleyG 😎💛⚾️💙
Agreed!! #wEerGoingToOmaha and #TakeMeHomaha both are so much better than Omaneers!
Please stop. "Omaneers" is horrible. Not sure who at ESPN came up with that, but it's gotta go.
If we're forcing PR slogans for the CWS, #TakeMeHomaha is much better. While not perfect, it's a smoother blend that makes more sense and, more importantly, doesn't imply "neers."
Let's go boys!! Hammer dahn on those Rocco shots for @WVUBaseball @PatMcAfeeShow! #eermaha #wEerGoingToOmaha #omahneer #roccoschallenge
Oh boy! @CWSShotBoard - in the words of @JRsBBQ, bizness is about to pick up for @WVUBaseball fans! LET’S GO!!!

Coming to Omaha for the Men’s College World Series? Here’s some tips you need to know. 🤝
BUY A WV SHIRT - WE BUY A SHOT!
There's a challenge in Omaha during the World Series known as #RoccosChallenge. Purchase the most jell-o shots - win the title. #WestVirginia was built for this!
Current record 68,888 by LSU but we've got @PatMcAfeeShow!

"....to a place I belong" @WVUBaseball punches the first ticket to Omaha! We look forward to new fans and new faces and raising money to fight food insecurity in Morgantown! We've heard the Mountaineers and @PatMcAfeeShow know how to party. We'll find out next week! #roadtoRoccos

I said last week this is the best postgame tradition in sports.
I’m updating it:
It’s the best tradition going in sports.
