yeah I guess it depends what it was, sometimes I like getting a first reaction to someone trying a new tool

did they even ask you to try it first or you straight up don’t use it and don’t want to?

I was shocked when I realized how many people are verbally abusing their agents

I do that too with movies and shows, at least it’s fun to be part of the conversation on here even if you have a different opinion about it

I was actually surprised it had this kind of mass appeal

Also if they included all that we would have been in the theatre for another 3 hours lol

There’s already a doc that covers the company, fraud and what she did called The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley. I think You Can See Everything not giving this context was a choice - but I agree that it’s important to get the full story.

Without the background I don’t know that it would connect so much

I actually thought about this when I was leaving the theatre. I knew the whole story so the creative choice to focus on Elizabeth (and Billy) felt like the first time I could see a different angle and think about how we make assumptions first and find evidence to support it

honestly, the more I think about it, I loved all of the creative choices that added up to make it what it was. We talk about taste, we talk about a good story. But to make something exceptional it takes a million little choices to leave the audience with this kind of impact.
Just saw You Can See Everything and it absolutely lives up to the hype. If you don’t know the Elizabeth Holmes story, read Bad Blood, watch The Dropout show and watch The Inventor doc. It will make it an even better viewing experience. 10/10
If you send me an email that is obviously AI generated with no thought
a) I’m not reading it
b) I’m calling you (millennials especially)
It’s hard to have a casual hello with a stranger in LA because they will double down and act like they fully know you
