f*cking insane. I hired an AI chief of staff for $0, gave it one rule: "find me $50,000 a month or you're fired", went to sleep, and Opus 5.5 had it on my desk by morning a SpaceXAI engineer said one line that hit 5 million views: "i have a Chief of Staff agent. he knows about all my other bots and manages everything" a human one costs $200,000 a year. mine runs on Opus 5.5 inside Viktor, on his own computer in the cloud, with my laptop shut i give the goal, he does the steps, i only make the calls the rule: "find me $50,000 a month of new business. public data only. contact nobody without my yes" the night: → 9pm broke the goal into 4 jobs and gave each a day and a time, i wrote none of them → 11pm pulled 240 dental clinics in Austin from Google Maps and cut every chain → 1am read every site that was left and kept 25, each with one thing he noticed and where he saw it → 2am wrote an opener for every one of them, sent zero → 3am built the offer on one page, no invented results, price left blank for me instead of guessing → 8am i typed $2,000 a month. 25 clinics × $2,000 = $50,000 a month on the table honestly the blank price is what i'd pay for, an AI that guesses your price loses you the deal and he does it again every Monday: 100 new clinics a month, and he never forgets to start 240 clinics → 25 worth it → 1 offer → $50,000 a month on the table → 0 sent without my yes second 12, he leaves the price blank and hands it to me someone's chief of staff is already pitching the clinics in your city i left the whole setup below ↓ free, steal it

The new Tesla Roadster accelerates faster than a fighter jet taking off from an aircraft carrier
The new Tesla Roadster produces more thrust than an F-16 fighter jet at military power Roadster Thrust augment: >80 kN (~18,000 lbf) F-16 with F100-PW-229: ~79.2 kN (~17,800 lbf) without afterburner Tesla packed enough cold-gas thrust into a car that exceeds the non-afterburning thrust of an F-16 engine With afterburner, the F-16 exceeds at ~130 kN But the fact this comparison even exists is insane Tesla just pushed automotive engineering deep into aerospace territory

Travis Kalanick on the founder's paradox: the better you get, the harder it is to stay fired up. "The young entrepreneurs that are coming up right now don't totally get it." "When you get into your 3rd and 4th company, I don't know, this may be even my 5th at this point, you get fricking really good at doing stuff." "Things that used to take me a day or three days, a lot of stress, anxiety, like, 'How am I gonna do this?' take me like 45 minutes. And that's a beautiful thing." "I'm so used to adversity at this point that it's kind of normal, so I don't get as pissed off. But being pissed off makes you good as an entrepreneur, so I gotta make sure I'm still fired up." "You get too used to adversity, and that's kind of a problem." Full conversation: youtube.com/watch?v=r8qKNFeB… @travisk

Elon Musk: “If you want to recruit talented and driven people, you must state the mission, the problem to solve, and show you’re willing to pour blood, sweat, and tears into it with a convincing reason why it matters. Motivation comes from three things: enjoying the work itself, fair financial rewards, and knowing the work will make a real difference in the world.”

True
This is the capital of robotics! 🌁 Silicon Valley is home to so many physical AI companies that you could spend a month visiting them and still not see even 10% of them (trust me, I tried). So, the Bay Area is the world's leading ecosystem for robotics startups, bringing together top AI talent, top universities, experienced founders, and unmatched access to capital. The region is anchored by Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley, two of the world's top universities for AI and robotics. They produce a constant stream of researchers, founders, and breakthrough technologies. The Bay Area is also home to many of the companies shaping the future of robotics and AI, including @Figure_robot, @physical_int, @GeneralistAI, and major AI labs such as @OpenAI, or @GoogleDeepMind. This concentration of talent makes it easy for startups to recruit experienced engineers and collaborate with leaders in embodied AI. Not mentioning that it  is also home to leaders such as @NVIDIARobotics, whose headquarters and leadership in AI chips power much of today's robotics revolution, and Tesla, whose work on autonomous driving and humanoid robots has created a deep pool of robotics, AI, and manufacturing talent. Perhaps its biggest advantage is access to capital, talent and ambition. The Bay Area has the world's deepest network of venture capital firms, serial entrepreneurs, and technical leaders who are willing to fund bold, long-term robotics companies. In the comments I'll post the companies from the ecosystem. ‼️ Note that Bay Area has >300 robotics companies, research labs, and innovation hubs, so this is a curated selection of the notable product companies, not an exhaustive census! P.S. I'm constantly working on improving these maps, so if your company is missing, please DM me with basic info about the co, and I will include it in the next release. P.S.2 I have last open slots for my December RoboTour in the Bay Area, if you want to create content together and show the world what are you cooking, dm! :) ~~  ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news → ziegler.substack.com

Internet connectivity enables education & prosperity
🚨 ELON MUSK ON INTERNET AND POVERTY Elon said the single biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty is give them an internet connection. Once people have internet, they can learn almost anything for free and sell their goods and services to the world. SpaceX is in a strong position. It will likely do about 90% of the mass launched to orbit this year, and nearly 80% of all active satellites in orbit are already SpaceX, providing high-bandwidth connectivity worldwide.

This is why
Elon Musk explains the deeper purpose of SpaceX and why making life multiplanetary is so important for the future of humanity: “The goal of SpaceX is to build the technologies necessary to make life multiplanetary” For roughly 4 billion years, life on Earth has existed without the ability to expand beyond its home planet Now, for the first time in history, humanity has the technology to begin changing that And that is what SpaceX is ultimately building toward Reusable rockets, Starship, orbital refueling and eventually self-sustaining cities on Mars are all part of making humanity a spacefaring civilization This is much bigger than exploring another planet It is about ensuring that life and consciousness can continue to survive, evolve and expand far into the future Humanity has an extraordinary opportunity to become multiplanetary, and SpaceX is building the technology to make it happen right now

🚨 ELON MUSK IN 2003 REVEALS SPACEX PLAN In a 2003 talk, Elon Musk laid out the exact strategy SpaceX has followed for over 20 years. He said they would start with a real, proven market: launching small to medium satellites to generate steady revenue. From there, move into human transportation. The long-term goal was always clear: build a super heavy lift rocket, the successor to Saturn V, to enable moon bases and Mars missions. He called it the holy grail.
