This is not entirely accurate, the sources said that 4 small regional police departments will not be involved in the inauguration due to staffing /technical reasons. The DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) confirmed that thousands of police officers will assist with security.

Nine years and 2 months ago my family lived through an unthinkable tragedy. An entire family, with small children, murdered by a husband and father in whom they placed their trust. I've watched the father/grandpa, stepmom/grandma work through the pain.
Is it just me or isn't this just a sick, sick way to treat horrific crimes? Those of you who watch, do you ever feel the humanity, the pain, of the survivors? Or is your popcorn and evening's viewing more important? Just wondering, why, why dwell on this? Why dredge it up?
