Just went to an upscale department store to make a return. I broke out the iPhone Duo to get the scan code and all hell broke loose. 😂
Bro behind the counter freaked out and asked to hold it. Then he called his coworkers over. They came. So did some customers. They ALL asked me if it was cracked. “Does it look like it?” 🤦♂️
Then things gradually turned to “You can’t even see the crease!” And “Holy sh— this feels amazing in the hand.” Lots of wows.
Stop believing the crap online. Go out and see one in person.

MLB literally admits that a salary cap wouldn’t change the thing they claim to be standing up for on behalf of “fans” (outcome based competitive balance) 😂😂😂
Competitive balance sits at the heart of the fight that will soon shut down MLB. So @TheAthletic took a deep dive into what the state of parity in MLB really is.
@enosarris ran the numbers, the league and union were interviewed — and two takeaways stood out.

Another great nugget: the Dodgers are the only team in the league with a correlation between spending and playoff success.
Remove them from the equation and those two data points are unrelated entirely

FINAL: Rays 4, Yankees 3
The best team in the league finishes the sweep and heads to the ALCS. A game-tying Anthony Volpe home run was overturned because of fan interference, and the Rays held their one-run lead for the final 10 outs. The Yankees haven't won a title in 17 years.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto doesn’t believe he out-pitched Chris Sale tonight in NLDS Game 3:
“That was a team effort, we need one more win. As a team, we should get together and then get more win.”

Kiké Hernández hits a home run once every ~35 AB in the regular season.
In the postseason? Once every ~17 AB.
He literally homers twice as often in October

There are people who leave a mark on the world, and then there are people who change it entirely. Steve changed the world and so many lives in the process. He certainly changed my life forever. His spirit lives on in everything he created and everyone he inspired.
