True. And when will @NationalHways come clean about the true costs today of #ArundelBypass and its truly lousy BCR+VfM? NationalHWaste of taxpayers money harms people places and planet.
Same meeting @NorfolkCC
1. Wensum Link💲costs💲 spiral out of control as asphalt, steel, cement go up&⬆️
2. £60m cuts inevitable &🔜jobs go down&⬇️
This WILL affect frontline services.
RT if you agree spending >>£250K/month on Rd council can't afford &cutting jobs is WRONG

This seriously breaks my heart 💔 the thought of how much will be lost, no amount of "mitigation" or "green bridges" or any other greenwashing could ever make up for the destruction of our villages + countryside. Please take a moment to help us save all of this 🙏

Keep the faith - noticed the viaduct ? First estimate £300 million + without any bridge as they didn’t know engineering at the time …. Rumours are £600 million+ not known if this includes the viaduct stretch…. Whatever it includes it’s not worth it for a 9 disputable minutes ⛔️

Took a trip to @BinstedVillage over New Years for the first time since I was a kid. Had a great walk in the rain. Cannot believe today in 🇬🇧 building new roads in the precious countryside is even considered as an option. Wrecking the beauty that remains! 🤯
