SOS campaign at work. A look behind the scenes at Amazon Accelerate. Today, a group of MDS members sat down for a closed-door conversation with Amazon executives and VPs across several departments, including Jenna Owens, Katie Scott, Mary Beth, Sunny, Claire and others. My biggest takeaway: Amazon wants to hear us out. There is a shared interest in helping sellers succeed and grow on the platform, and these conversations are an opportunity to help leadership understand what that looks like from the operator’s side. When we started SOS earlier this year, the goal was to bring more visibility to the challenges being discussed every day inside MDS. Rising fees, increasingly complicated policies, and the difficulty of continuing to grow profitably are influencing how sellers reinvest, launch products and diversify their businesses. We wanted those experiences to reach the people who could act on them. Since then, we’ve seen some tangible progress. Our collective push through the ads boycott helped secure an additional $10,000 in ad credits for affected accounts. At Accelerate, we also heard whispers that Amazon has paused bringing additional accounts into the program that prompted the boycott, a change from the original plan for a blanket rollout by the end of the year. More recently, we raised concerns about a new feature allowing customers to leave negative feedback alongside refund requests. After we brought it to Amazon leadership’s attention, we saw that feature removed within two weeks. Today’s meeting was a chance to build on those conversations. We discussed reviews, competitor attacks, the challenges of successfully launching products, and the impact of increased fees on sellers’ ability to invest and grow. We also talked about creating more effective channels for experienced sellers to flag problems and communicate directly with the right teams at Amazon. That last piece is especially important. Beyond addressing individual issues, we hope to establish an ongoing dialogue where seller feedback can help inform decisions, rather than only reaching leadership after something becomes a bigger problem. We also heard that a broader conversation about fees is coming. We don’t yet know what that will bring, but it is encouraging to have the opportunity to explain how those costs affect real businesses and what sellers need to keep growing. Thank you to the Amazon team for making time for a candid, constructive discussion. And thank you to everyone in MDS who has shared their experiences, supported SOS and helped us bring specific examples to the table. Your support is helping turn conversations inside this community into conversations with the people who can make a difference. There is more work ahead, and we’re going to keep building on this.

It is easy to set an invisible limit on your own growth, thinking $1M, $2M, or $3M is as far as your brand can go. Stepping into a room with founders scaling $20M, $50M, or $100M+ businesses completely resets your perspective. You quickly realize that high-level success is not reserved for a select few; it is built by ordinary, approachable people who are eager to share their knowledge and help you reach that next milestone. When you surround yourself with generous peers, your ceiling becomes your new baseline.

The absolute best part of community is being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you win. From sharing trusted supplier contacts to helping each other celebrate new milestones, the warmth and openness among these founders is second to none. It is a genuine collective of ambitious minds enjoying the journey and building the future side by side. Ready to experience a community rooted in real support and positivity? Book a discovery call and let's connect.

Back from our MDS Singapore Summit and finally shook off the jet lag. The key takeaway - Diversify or Die Our first ever Summit in Asia was exceptional. Members learned a ton, I got so many thank-yous afterward, and it’s always a great feeling coming home from one of these events knowing people got real value and that we helped their businesses grow. Dropping a quick video with my recap & takeaways from the summit. Also, let me know how you like this recap format. Give me some support and maybe I’ll start doing more event recaps like this. It is easy to assume that many ecom groups are filled with short-term tactics or operators looking for quick hacks. When you are focused on building a serious, enduring enterprise with a real market footprint, surface-level networking simply isn't worth your time. Stepping into the right environment changes that perspective completely. The most common reflection our members have after joining isn't about the investment. It's wishing they had joined sooner. Don’t wait for the "right time" to find the right people. Let’s build what’s next together, now. Book a discovery call join.mds.co/booking/page/mds…

The best part of gathering with other founders isn't just the tactics you implement tomorrow; it is the unknown potential of what happens next. Meeting old friends, making new ones, and seeing how others solve complex problems opens up possibilities you might never have considered on your own. Some value is instant; some unfolds over years through the relationships you build along the way. Put yourself in the room and see what opens up. Book a discovery call and let's connect.

Was great to reconnect with MDS member #4
If you want to make money, you need to be going out and talking to like-minded people. You can't just stay at home and read twitter. People don't put the good stuff on Twitter. They keep it for themselves, until you can show that you're legit and you'll help them back. Conferences (especially ones where you need to qualify) are key for creating these win-win relationships that can help you make significantly more money. And they're energizing. They'll make you happier and excited when you come back to work. "Oh no, I can't, the business will fall apart without me." If that's true, then you, more than anyone need to go, to learn how to solve that problem, but also to force yourself to solve that problem. The conferences are expensive. I paid $3300 for this one, plus travel. Within 24 hours of attending, I realized it had paid for itself. Find the best conference or membership group for what you do and join. Your wallet, your wife, and your overall wellbeing will be happy you did. If you're in e-commerce, according to my experience, MDS (Million Dollar Sellers, you need to qualify) is the best one. I wasn't paid to post this. I'm not getting any benefit for posting this. There's a referral bonus, and I don't know what it is. So if you join, you can have it instead of me. mds.co/

We just wrapped up an amazing week in Singapore, and we could not be more grateful for how it all came together. Incredible views, world-class hospitality, and above all, an extraordinary group of people coming together to share, learn, and grow as one. Singapore set a beautiful new benchmark for what happens when authentic leaders connect in person. Thank you to every founder, speaker, and partner who made our first Singapore summit so unforgettable.

Day 2 in Singapore brought a completely different kind of magic. Beyond the wealth of knowledge shared on stage, today was about the incredible energy that happens when great minds gather in a vibrant city. From morning masterminds to sunset conversations overlooking the skyline, founders spent the day trading real experiences, laughing, and helping each other solve complex challenges. When you put passionate brand owners together, business stops feeling like a solo grind and starts feeling like a collective adventure.
