A NEW STEP FORWARD! Clene’s CNM-Au8, available through ACT for ALS-funded EAPs, has been submitted to the FDA. If approved, it could reach everyone in the U.S. living with ALS in 2027. People with ALS don’t have time to wait. We urge a timely review.
A major milestone for Clene: We’ve submitted an NDA to the FDA seeking accelerated approval of investigational CNM-Au8® for ALS.
Thank you to the patients, families and partners who helped make this step possible.

Stop telling me any other story in sports history is better than the 2026 Chicago White Sox.

The Cubs and White Sox are BOTH headed to the #Postseason for just the fourth time!

For 15 seasons, Nneka Ogwumike helped shape the WNBA as a star, a champion and a leader. From growing the game to making sure it’s in good hands until her very last dance, we are forever grateful.
Thank you for it all.

AP photographer Amy Sancetta stuck around for a few days to meet up with friends in New York after covering the U.S. Open tennis tournament on Sept. 9, 2001.
Two days later, she received a call from one of AP's photo editors, rushed out of her hotel room and recorded history.

A light show was held on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
The drones first rose into the night sky in a spiral, then formed the outlines of the destroyed World Trade Center towers.
The installation used 2,977 drones — one for each person killed in the attacks.

I don’t know you personally, but as someone who worked for McClatchy at the News and Observer in Raleigh, I don’t think people realize how bad this is. What’s happened to local news is devastating.
When local coverage is gutted, you’re losing people who intimately know your community. The local perspective is lost and the narrative of the community becomes shaped by outsiders who don’t understand the people there or completely ignored altogether.
Somehow, a 1/4 century has passed, and yet, so many souls who died that day are forever frozen in time. Remembering them & the heroes of this day of infamy.
Wishing we all could quit yelling past each other & focus on constructive help for humans around us in need. Imagine.

On a flight from Boston to Phoenix and this note was in my seat when I returned from the restroom. I think this shows how much an entire generation is struggling. Whether it’s my own kids or a random person on a random flight, young people are frustrated. There is massive anxiety and uncertainty about the future. This government hasn’t done jack shit for hardworking young Americans who have done everything right…..but if you are a billionaire with a big stock portfolio and a bigger tax cut, Trump’s "Golden Age" has arrived.

Matt Suhey passed away yesterday.
He was my dad’s closest friend. After we lost my dad in 1999, Matt became the biggest father figure I had. When everything felt uncertain, he was there. My dad left him in charge and Matt never let that responsibility sit lightly. He protected our family. He looked after us. He made sure we were okay, year after year, without ever making it about himself.
That is who he was.
Their friendship showed me what real friendship looks like. Not the easy kind. The kind that lasts when the lights go off, when the stadium is empty, when life gets heavy. Brian’s Song told the story of Piccolo and Sayers. Somebody needs to tell the story of 34 and 26. Two men who trusted each other completely. Two men who became brothers.
I know @walterpayton was standing there waiting for him the second he got to heaven. I can see it. That smile. That hug. That reunion they both deserved.
Our family is so thankful for the love he showed us over the years. The Payton family will continue to lift Donna, Joey, Allison, and Scotty up in prayer during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Uncle Matt. We love you. We always will. 🙏🏽🐻⬇️
