Community survey: help needed!
We're trying to understand the state of the PsychoPy/JS community and any barriers to engagement. If you use our tools at all please go to run.pavlovia.org/pavlovia/su…
(Also, what a great way to test out the new Pavlovia Surveys tool! 😁 )

I know I'm biased, but this is shaping up to be another fantastic tool from the open science tools team. Love how much they relish all the challenges we throw at them!!
👀 Seeking an alternative to Qualtrics 📋 ?
Pavlovia now has a new **Survey Creator**. You can even directly import Qualtrics QSF files!

We live in the future: when you try out jupyter here, everything runs in the browser, no remote kernel necessary. It’s Python compiled to web assembly with web workers in Pyodide . Numpy, matplotlib, etc. it all works jupyter.org/try

Do you use R for data analysis but another platform (psychopy, etc) for programming experiments?
@felixhenninger says you can streamline this workflow by "Building Experiments in R" in a talk at the Statistics and Methodology session!

We created a Shiny app that demonstrates how pix, norm and height units work in #PsychoPy: psychology.nottingham.ac.uk/…
It shows min and max screen coordinates, and intuitively illustrates how stimuli can disappear from the screen. @psychopy @notts_psych

What can you do with a simple image by changing it frame-by-frame using "each frame"?
Using one component....
Make it glide:
position: (t+0.1, 0)
Make it spin:
orientation: t*180
Make it pulse:
size: 0.25+0.5*(sin(t)**4)

How do we study animals without disrupting their natural behavior?
@TrackingActions + @TrackingPlumes developed @DeepLabCut to track + label the movement of animals like penguins. 🐧 Now they’re developing a DeepLabCut plugin for @napari_imaging to make labeling even easier
