Breaking news: Gantz just dropped out.
Also breaking news: Apparantly Gantz has been in the race all this time.

This morning, AIPAC was featured on the @nytimes podcast The Daily. The NYT did not ask us for comment or to verify any of the โfacts.โ As a result, listeners were subjected to several inaccuracies, omissions, and mischaracterizations about our work and our members. Below are just some of these false claims:
Scary to think about how many people rely on this guy for their news. Both Mario and Joe Rogan
Something I appreciate about Cenk is that his lies are a mix of easily disproven and completely unverifiable. The easily disproven ones like these make it easier to point to the unverifiable ones and say "yeah he's just making this up"
Iranian drones cost $35,000. Our missiles to intercept them cost between $500K and $4M. Uh oh. They have tons of drones and we are starting to run low on THAAD and Patriot missiles. We spent 25% of them defending Israel in June. @ggreenwald and I host @TheYoungTurks today at 6PM.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Common United States missile interceptors that are used against UAS threats are the Coyote and the APKWS. The Coyote costs around $100k-$125k per missile and the APKWS costs approximately $20k to $35k per missile.

"No one knows who killed Charlie Kirk and why. But I have a few theories I'd like to share based on nothing but my own inexpert speculation"
No one knows who killed Charlie Kirk and why. But one thing is for sure, this has all the hallmarks of a professional assassination and none of the characteristics of a lone wolf nutjob. The one shot to the jugular, the immediate disappearance of the shooter, lack of a manifesto. It seems highly likely that someone hired the killer.

To be Jewish has meant experiencing a crushing disappointment in the world since the Hamas attacks that started this war. A stray line in one of the many articles about the Bibas family today unintentionally offers a crystal clear explanation for that disappointment. โFor many Israelis,โ The New York Times writes, โthe story of the Bibas family has become a symbol of the brutality of the Hamas-led Oct. 7 attack.โ
That sentence is accurate. But in another universe, one where the โinternational communityโ cares a whit for justice and human decency, the sentence would read this way: โFor everyone, the story of the Bibas family has become a symbol of the brutality of the Hamas-led Oct. 7 attack.โ
In such a world, the faces of the Bibas children would be everywhere at all times. In the world in which we live, by contrast, posters with those faces get torn down from bulletin boards. In the kind of world we hope to deserve to inhabit, no childrenโs charity or NGO would go a day without drawing attention to Kfir and Ariel and the monsters who stole them.

Makes a few weird point about Netanyahu's greatest failings is how he's always been proven right.
A year later, I look at four failed concepts โ comprehensive mental models โ that brought us to the disaster of October 7.

Candace Owens defending deep south KKK lynchings was not on my bingo card, though perhaps it should have been.
The ADL was literally created to cover for a wealthy pedophile murderer named Leo Frank, who raped and killed a 13 year old little girl then tried to blame it on a poor black illiterate janitor who worked for him.
This was in 1913 in the racist segregated south. The evidence was so overwhelming that they convicted him wealthy Leo Frank despite his attempts to plant evidence on other people.
The ADL now refers to Leo Frank as a โvictim of antisemitismโ.
They are sick, perverted defenders of pedophilia and murder.
Every single person should study the Leo Frank case and ask yourself why the ADL has so much pull in our government.

The UN revised downward its estimates of how many women and children have died in Gazaโwithout explaining the discrepancies. Accurate numbers matter, @gcaw writes. โThe fog of statistics could be dispersed with just a few sentences of straight talk.โ theatln.tc/GOWrc1cz
As a @benshapiro fan, I still love this. He should own it and retweet it himself
Defensive measures like Iron Dome and David's Sling are not a deterrent. You can't list cite Israeli defensive measures (shooting down 300 incoming rockets and drones!) as a deterrent. Nobody is deterred by blocking a punch. They're deterred by the threat of a punch back
DOOCY TIME: โJohn, has President Biden considered maybe beefing up the public Iran posture to be more than just one word?โ
WHโs John Kirby: โYou โ youโre referring to, โdon'tโ?โ
Doocy: โYeah.โ
Kirby: โAnd so, let's โโ
Doocy: โBecause he said โโ
Kirby: โโ talk about โโ
Doocy: โโ โdonโtโ and they did it anyway.โ
Kirby: โโ and let's talk about โโ
Doocy: โSo, now what?โ
Kirby: โ what we did. Peter. Let's talk about โdonโtโ and did. Let's talk about Saturday night. He made it clear that he didn't want to see escalation in the region.โ
Doocy: โAnd yet, there was.โ
Kirby: โEh, let me finish. He added military resources to the region right after October 7 and then, when we had an inkling that this kind of thing was coming, he added even more military resources to the region, more destroyers that were capable of shooting down ballistic missiles, fighters โ fighter squadron that was able to shoot down drones and that's what we did. So, you can talk about the โdon'tโ word all you want, but let's talk about what did happen. And what did happen was Iran utterly failed. And if I'm sitting in Tehran right now, I'm betting that President Biden takes it pretty seriously. When he says, โdon'tโ escalate, heโs going to act to make sure that you can, and they didn't. Yes, they fired an unprecedented amount of munitions, but how much of a success that they have, Peter? None. Zero. Very little infrastructure. It was an embarrassing failure for the Supreme Leader for the IRGC.โ
This is the sort of quick thinking under pressure that we could really use int he army
BRILLIANT: Salbodka Yeshiva bochurim, in conjunction with the police, pulled a fast one on a group of leftist protestors outside the Yeshiva who refused to leave, until Rav Dov Landau left his house.
They asked the Yeshivas cook, an older Chasidishe yid, to dress up like Rav Dov, and they sang and danced him clearing a path to his car.
The driver left with the fake Rosh Yeshiva and the protestors dispersed.
The cook quipped it was worth cooking 30 years just to get the feel of 2 minutes of Kovod!
He met with the Rosh Yeshiva afterwards, who thanked him and gave him a bracha.
The voices that cry out about "indiscriminate bombing" usually cry even louder about extremely targeted action.
โabout 10 members of Israeli special forces dressed in civilian clothes went to the third floor [of the hospital], where they killed the men using weapons fitted with silencersโ
In any other country, weโd call this a government death squad.
