This was required reading for my generation of hip-hop in the 90s. I was about to say that Upski never gets mentioned anymore, but he gets quoted handsomely in the anticon books recently published by @caltrops_press. I need to revisit this one.

Itโs funny hearing podcasters and shit saying no one listened to our music. I sold over 30,000 copies of this album with no marketing, no managers , no Caroline distribution, just buzz because we were doing something different with a different perspective.
