We launched Swype (mobile keyboard) @TechCrunch 50 in 2008. @Yammer got 1st place, @fitbit 2nd, Swype 3rd. Roelof and @sequoia wanted to invest. But we had a Nokia/Samsung co-lead lined up plus $ millions lined up in commercial contracts 1/
We sold Swype to Nuance. They split into 2 co's @NuanceInc and @CerenceInc. Cerence kept the Swype patents. A couple mo ago, Cerence sued Apple for infringing on Swype patents!
I left Nuance to startup Xealth. We just sold @xealthinc to Samsung!
