ALT EXPLORING BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENTS’ VIEWS ON HOW TO IMPROVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION', a brief description that reads: THIS STUDY EXPLORED BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENTS’ VIEWS ON HOW TO IMPROVE PE AND AIMED TO AMPLIFY THEIR VOICES REGARDING THEIR SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCES WITHIN PE, and then details about the three themes. The first theme, curriculum needs educational value, describes how many of our participants noted that PE was not educational, in that they did not learn anything that they perceived to have value during class. The second theme, communication is key, described the lack of communication from, and with, PE teachers being noted by participants as having a negative impact on their ability to participate. Finally, the last theme, learn and accommodate needs, described participants views on PE class as a time when students did not know whether activities would be accessible or safe.
